17.01.2022 Fitness After Fifty has been approached with the invitation for participants of the seniors Thursday 9.15am class to be involved in a research project being conducted from Flinders University. The Associate Professor of the School of Nursing and Midwifery and another researcher are seeking volunteers involved in the Easy Moves Active Aging (EMAA). Participation is voluntary and the interview would last about one hour at a later time made by arrangement with each interviewee. The researchers will visit us for 10 minutes next week to explain in more detail and to leave information if you are interested in participating. As EMAA Leader for the 9.15am Thursday I expect I will consent to being involved. I will give you more info on this at class tomorrow.

08.01.2022 We are saddened by hearing that Roger lost his battle with cancer last week. I am grateful for the friendliness and assistance that Roger willingly offered as a stalwart member of Thursday 9.15am group. We will miss him. Condolences and best wishes to Roger's family

06.01.2022 A bunch of girls from my Dance Fitness class went to see Florence Foster Jenkins yesterday. Turned out to be a highly enjoyable and delightful movie. Meryl Streep was absolutely terrific playing one of her oldest character role yet. Looking Good Ms Streep! we loved it!
