03.01.2022 Could you get more from your training warm up? Long gone are the days of 5-10minutes of cardio and static stretches. If you want to see results try the following before you train. 1. Mobility- use dynamic stretches and active foam rolling to prime the joints and muscles to move. Move well to move better. Eg. Thoracic rotation, Inchworms.... 2. Activate- fire up and recruit the muscles to want to target in the session by improving the muscle engagement. Eg. A bridge variation for glute activation. 3. Be as specific as you can. We need to fire up the neuromuscular system for the movement pattern you are about to train. Do 2-4 warm up sets gradually increasing the resistance and keeping the same tempo you will train with. If you want real results ditch the cardio equipment and work smarter not harder. #fitbeartraining
