I was crap at it (Because I’m a big scaredy-cat and don’t trust myself not to fall) and have a fear of all sporty things. . I’m good in the gym and great behind a computer and that’s about it ... . 18.01.2022 This is a transformation throwback of me. The picture on the left was a result of 18 solid months of sadness (I cried every single day for 10 of those months). Unhealthy eating and very little exercise because I had lost my best friend to cancer. The pain and sadness ripped me apart and I found it almost impossible to function properly.Depression made me tired, anxiety made me nauseous, my conscious made me feel guilty for being alive while my gorgeous friend isn't. All this..., until one day something snapped inside me, some fire was lite and I realised my best friend would want me to live my best lifeIt was hard, I mean it was really really hard, I missed her, I felt broken, I had let my grip go Something had to change and it did. I used her as my inspiration! Every squat, every pushup and every burpee that I struggled with because I was fatigued, because it hurt, because it was hard, I dedicated to her. I turned my feelings of loss/resentment and anger around and put them into my workouts and taking care of myself. My point is, we all struggle, we all have a story, we all have weaknesses but we can overcome our setbacks.
