23.01.2022 Self-care isnt just all about bubble baths, massages and face masks... its also about taking the time to work on your mindset and habits. It's about removing and challenging toxic thoughts. Setting boundaries, saying no, and putting yourself first.... Reducing your interactions with people who drain you and choosing to spend your time with those who fill your cup up. Taking the time to pause, be present, be grateful, and enjoy the little things in life. Self-care is a priority and necessity its not a luxury. You do you, and make sure it makes you happy because in the end happiness is a choice. Which means, it's YOUR responsibility to take control and decide what kind of day youre going to have, you dont just wake up and wait and hope to have a good day You have to decide and commit to it, be more conscious, live with intent and purpose. You choose what thoughts you allow to entertain, as its your thoughts that create and generate your emotions, its your emotions that drive your behaviours and those behaviours that create your results. So stop living life on lifes terms, take responsibility and control of your thoughts and emotions, because it's never the environment and people that control them, ONLY YOU DO! #selfcare #mindfulness #selflove #lifecoach #mindset #priorities #gratitude #friendship #ytg #vulnerability #emotionalregulation
22.01.2022 When you step on the scales does that determine whether or not you're going to have a good day or a bad day? Does your weight define your self worth and who you are as a person? Do you think that once you weigh a certain number you will be hotter, happier, and more confident, and only then you can love yourself and feel worthy of other's love? ...Continue reading
21.01.2022 Jake wanted to know how to go out & socialise without always having to be the last man standing, his goals were to implement healthier eating and lifestyle changes and learn how to spend his free time more constructively instead of always going out and getting on it every weekend. He stated that when he was stressed out he would tend to shirk his responsibilities and push them aside in favor of drinking or partying, this was his coping mechanism. He would attempt to ignore th...e issues at hand which would result in him having to make up lies to cover up the fact that he didn’t do what he was supposed to which would ultimately backfire and keep him stuck in this vicious cycle. When signing up to the Breaking The Binge Cycle Program he stated that he wanted to achieve a sense of balance and a better understanding of why he needed to drink all the time.He wanted to learn how to break this all or nothing mentality so he could still go out and enjoy himself without allowing it to effect all his other health and lifestyle goals. Previously he has struggled to work on these issues due to the lack of awareness, skills, guidance, and accountability. He had fears and self-limiting beliefs that were holding him back. He was worried about where he would fit in if he changed his ways as most of his mates and social networks were all out participating in the same unhealthy behavious. He had fears of missing out and a belief that because it's always been this way and nothing has ever worked before, it wouldn't be possible for things to change. Since completing the program Jake learned how to find that healthy balance, he challenged those self-limiting beliefs and fears that were holding him back and has now gained clarity, and purpose in life with a clear transparent direction for his future. Now having the ability to regulate his emotions in a functional way, along with implementing, creating and adopting healthier habits that have helped him stay focused, motivated and on track with his other life goals. #healthyliving #balancedlife #balancedlifestyle #allornothing #settingintentions #achievinggoals #nlppractitioner #limitingbeliefs #healthyhabits #changeyourmindset
21.01.2022 Are you finding yourself eating and drinking more food and alcohol lately to help you cope? Whether that's coping with stress, boredom or just with the uncertainties of life right now? Just know you are in more control then you think you are!... Trying to cope means youre trying to manage your emotions.... now ask yourself honestly, is the way youre trying to manage your emotions in alignment with your goals and values? Are they giving you the long term results youre looking for or is just a short term fix thats just adding additional long term stress into your life? i.e weight gain, lack of motivation, low self-esteem, relationship problems, mental and physical health issues etc. Ask yourself, when you turn to food or alcohol to feel less bored, lonely or stressed what kind of results are you getting? Are these results helping you move towards or away from achieving your goals? Are these coping mechanisms in alignment with your values? are they helping you be more productive, focused, and energised? Are they generating more positive and life enhancing emotions and behaviours? If not, watch the video!
20.01.2022 BREAKING HABITS When it comes to breaking ANY habit, like quitting smoking, I coached myself as I would my clients. You need to understand why you do what you do, looking at the root cause & becoming more conscious of your thoughts, beliefs, excuses, & justifications that are driving these unhealthy habits.... To break old habits & build better ones, isnt about having more willpower or discipline, you just need a better system. You need to be able to notice the trigger, be familiar with the routine, & understand the reward you gain from it. What to do when your habit is triggered: 1. Practice mindfulness, stop & check-in with how you are feeling. 2. Ask yourself the following Q's: What thoughts are creating this desire/emotion (one wont hurt) What's the need I'm trying to meet (reduce stress, cure boredom) What's the positive intention of this habit? (change my emotional state) What can I do that's in alignment with my goals & values that will meet these same needs? (meditate, walk) As soon as Im triggered, having an urge/craving, I stop & ask how am I feeling (usually Im either drunk, bored, or stressed), or sometimes Im triggered by a specific time of day, substance, person or place. Once I understand my emotion, I get curious about the thoughts causing that emotion & the excuses I am using to justify this behaviour for example: "one smoke won't hurt, it's been a rough day" These thoughts are fuelling my want & desire to use, the more I think these thoughts and focus on them the more my desire will grow. Understand the issue isn't our external environment or the substance itself, it's our thoughts, they create the desire to use, & we have just gotten into the habit of responding to the desire with the action of saying yes every time we have it. Urges are like waves, they rise, reach a peak, then fall and pass. Most people think the only way to get rid of cravings is to just give in to it, or ITS NOT! The far better approach is ACCEPTING the cravings & learning to ride the wave. Neither resist nor give in & just allow ourselves to see the urge coming, feel it rise, and then watch it peak and fall. Challenge the thoughts & focus on your desired outcome & what the intention is. How can you meet that same need which is in alignment with your goals and values? Without realizing it the urge is gone & you have forgotten about it You can use this strategy with any habit you want to break. Neither resist nor give in & just allow ourselves to see the urge coming, feel it rise and then watch it peak and fall.
19.01.2022 Next Monday I will be running my 5-day challenge! In this I will be providing you guys with a bunch of free content. So if you want to learn how to have more control over food and alcohol especially during self-isolation, if you're just finding yourself drinking and eating/snacking more then usual now that you're stuck at home, bored and have more time on your hands then this challenge will be exactly what you need to ensure you don't let it get out of control anymore then it... already has and allow it to get in the way of you achieving your goals. I say 5-day challenge but its basically a free mini program, its just at the end of each video I will be giving you a little challenge to do so you can go out there and put what youre learning with me into action. Because as I say knowledge doesnt equal behaviour change, its taking that knowledge and putting it into action which is what creates the long-lasting changes. My goal for this is to teach you guys how to finally create and maintain a healthy balance between being able to indulge in the things you love such as your favorite foods, alcohol and or drugs but whilst being able to stay committed and on track with your health, fitness and lifestyle goals. 18.01.2022 I honestly believed that Id be happier once I lost the weight and got to this perfect size. I was always stuck in my head, believing every negative thought I had about myself. Wasting valuable time, money, and energy on diets, supplements and quick fix strategies that never worked. Spending hours looking in front of the mirror body checking, fat shaming, logging food, counting calories, and obsessing over what kind of workout i'll need to do to burn it all off. ... Then one day I decided to question all these thoughts and behaviors. I questioned why I thought i'd be happier if I was skinnier...I couldnt come up with one good answer. So Instead of investing more of my time, money and energy on strategies that didn't work I invested it in getting a mindset coach. The media is there to make us feel shit about ourselves so we buy and invest in their products, but instead of investing in products that don't work, why not start investing in coaches and programs that will work, ones that will help you deal with the REAL issue your MINDSET, not your body! When it comes to low self-esteem and self-worth your body isnt the problem, its the way you think about your body and yourself as whole. Feeling fat, and having thoughts like I wish I had a flat stomach", "No one will ever find me attractive and just overall feeling shit about the way we look is something most of us have all experienced at some point in our lives. So when and if you're having these kinds of thoughts, remind yourself that they are just that, thoughts! They arent true, they are false beliefs, judgments and opinions they are not facts. Instead learn how to question and challenge the validity of these thoughts, and ask yourself...where is the evidence in what I'm are saying. Understand that to be free in loving yourself and accepting yourself for who you are doesnt mean that you stop being excited about achieving the next level in your fitness and health but just know you dont need those things in order to feel worthy or enough. But you will need to do the hard work which means taking every single opportunity you can get to strengthen and reinforce your self-worth and confidence, and this all starts from the inside out not the other way around. Yes its confronting, yes it means you have to be vulnerable, and yes it means you have to get outside of your comfort zone and actually do the work... But you have to ask yourself, isn't it worth it? If you can relate to this post, and if you're looking for some support & guidance around learning how to fully love and accept yourself, then please reach out and get in contact with me today. 17.01.2022 All the things that help you get to where you want to be in life can feel like an effort.... Losing weight. Being disciplined. Staying motivated. Exercising. Being consistent.... Meal prepping. Breaking unhealthy habits. Being out of your comfort zone. But wait, what about how hard all this other stuff is. Being overweight. Having no energy. Being unhealthy. Being unhappy. Never achieving your goals. Feeling unmotivated. Being weak. Never evolving. Constantly on and off the wagon. So,which hard are you going to choose? because either way, its going to be hard. -Jared Hamilton Ask yourself, what would rather, experience short-term pleasure & long-term pain or short-term pain & long-term pleasure? You have to understand Its hard on purpose because as you know pain creates opportunity for growth & change. Just like our workouts, its painful to lift weights, during & after, the initial pain sucks but if you push through, stay consistent & learn to embrace the pain you soon realize you start to feel good, feel stronger, you start to see results, & then you start to look forward to the pain because you know its worth it in the end. We need to take this same approach with life.Embrace the discomfort & pain & stick it out long enough to see the benefits. We want to be willing to invite the feeling of discomfort into our lives, instead of resisting it & hiding from it,we want to learn to embrace it & enjoy it. When we seek growth & embrace discomfort we get to finally see what we're capable of doing as overcoming that type of pain & hardship is better than the type of pain you will suffer from the long term consequences of staying stuck in the vicious cycle. Showing what youre capable of & going out there & being you & youre authentic self, living your best life is the best feeling, but the price you have to pay for this will be a level of discomfort. When you practice acceptance & embrace this, it becomes easier to persevere, you know its going to be hard but you look forward to it because you know whats on the other side. @akt_photography_
15.01.2022 As my mindset coach would say (and yes I also have my own personal coach, because all great coaches do) @dxgodfrey would say Don't be a human doing, i.e someone who doesnt feel worthy unless they are doing something as opposed to a human being. During the pandemic I found myself little out of balance, and I was in the habit of thinking Im not doing enough, and I need to be doing more. And this is all because of an underlying belief that to be successful I had to be doing m...ore. Which is bullshit, this is just a limiting belief that hinders us, it takes us out of the present moment and makes us lose sight of what is truly important to us. For those that can relate, I strongly encourage you to ask yourself these questions. How do you define success? How do you define enough? How much do you need to be doing to know you're doing enough? Enough is actually subjective, were the ones who get to decide whats enough. I think it's important to remind ourselves that balance is dynamic, the search for balance is a constant working progress, there is no visible end to it. You change, your life changes, people change, work circumstances change, which is why you have to keep working on your life balance and constantly adapting to your current situation. We can't have everything perfect all the time. What's throwing you out of balance? And what do you need to bring into my life right now to find greater balance? #success #mindset #nlp #covid_19 #pandemic #change #slowdown #rest #recovery #reflection #lifecoach #mindsetcoach #balance #balanceisthekey #lifestyle #balancedlife #balancedlifestyle
15.01.2022 Are you an all or nothing type of person? You're either writing yourself off completely on the weekends, overindulging in food, alcohol, and drugs or youre either completely sober, isolating, exercising, and eating healthy. There just never seems to be a happy medium. And even though you've tried through several attempts to find that middle ground, for example maybe youve tried cutting back and restricting, or youve tried counting your drinks or calories, but over time you...ve come to realize that none of these strategies work long term because you always end up back where you started. It's just a constant battle, you're always on or off the wagon, you're either up and exercising or you're sleeping in and hungover, you're either eating super healthy or youre binging on junk food Sound familiar? The reality is, we love the way that drinking, eating delicious foods and taking drugs makes us feel.were more relaxed, we feel at ease, were more talkative, we have more confidence, and we can just forget all about our stresses and worries in our life for that moment. Which is great, why wouldnt we want that? But if I was to ask you honestly, arent you sick and tired of this vicious cycle? Isnt there a part of you that just wishes you could have the best of both worlds? one where you could still indulge in the things you love but without it turning into a full-blown binge or bender, where you're able to be in complete control, you know when to stop and call it quits, and can easily have that one drink or be sober and still be able to experience all those same emotions as you would have if you were on it. If so, just know this is 100% possible. Join my FB group today to be a part of my 5-day challenge next week so you can finally learn how to feel balanced and in control between going out and indulging in the things you love whilst staying committed and on track with your goals. 15.01.2022 Switching to certified organic Before I was uneducated & had shit excuses like it's too expensive, too hard, I don't have time, etc. The reality is, in each moment we all have a choice, we have free will to choose, whether we're conscious of what we choose in the moment or not, our choices are a reflection of our values, priorities, and what's important to us.... We always find enough time, money, energy, and resources for what matters the most to us in life. The list of excuses I used and what other people come up with are often equal to the lack of value or priority they place on themselves and their health. Even when we say we value ourselves and our health, the question is then why aren't our choices and behaviors demonstrating alignment to these values? The truth of the matter is, our choices don't lie, the life we live demonstrates our values and priorities. So why aren't we prioritizing our health? How can we honestly say that anything else is more important than our health? "We are so conditioned to wanting and expecting instant gratification, especially where spending money is concerned. Unless we finally realize that the lifestyle we all aspire to enjoy is dependent on our health. We're often too attached to the ego's needs, wants, and desires, but these attachments come at the cost of taking care of ourselves which is a paradox because the ego itself is all about the "I". We now add chemical preservatives, additives, flavorings, colourings, sweeteners, emulsifiers, and stabilisers to our food. We use chemical fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides and spray poisons on our produce while it’s still growing. We pick it before it’s ripe, store it too long, transport it too far, then gas, freeze, irradiate, can, or package it. We are more concerned with how our food looks than how it tastes, and we rarely question its nutrient value and where, when, or how it was grown. We are seduced by convenience, marketing, and packaging. Just because this has become the norm in today’s food culture doesn’t mean it is right." - Joanna Rushton Since going organic what I have already noticed is not only does it taste better but also just from eating more nutrient-dense foods I find that I eat less because I'm more satisfied and nourished and therefore I don't crave more food. I also find that I have more energy, my immune system is stronger, and whether it's a placebo thing or not I just feel better as a whole for just knowing that by eating organic I have less artificial chemicals, hormones, and antibiotics in my body. You can't change what you don't acknowledge. Acknowledging a habit or behaviour is simply the first step towards changing it. What habit or behaviour are you aware of that you would like to change?

14.01.2022 When we decide that we want to take a break or cut down our drinking, partying or drug use, most people think the answer is willpower, the ability to say no, and resist temptation. What usually happens if we do attempt to resist, we eventually give in to our cravings and urges, and then try to blame our lack of willpower and think the answer is, I just need more of it, I need more discipline and ability to resist and say no. Yes to certain extent willpower can work from time...Continue reading
14.01.2022 HELLO MONDAY MORNING Im just gonna write that weekend off, and pretend like it never happened and everythings fine. But the days that follow are far from fine because we're left with the residue from the negative emotions and repercussions of our behavior from the weekend. ... By hiding or throwing out the bottles, pizza boxes and empty satty bags and pretending as nothing happened, and then proclaiming that this was the last time, Im gonna be good now and then attempt to restrict again are silly strategies that never actually help you change these unhealthy habits. In fact, this is the type of mentality that will make you repeat the mistakes again because instead of understanding why you drank or ate so much the night before or why you ended up on a bender, you just spend the next day trying to avoid it or react by thinking that food or alcohol is the enemy, so your answer is to get back on the wagon, eat only good food, smash yourself at the gym, restrict and isolate. Clearly this strategy is not working for you. It leads to feelings of being deprived and this behaviour is whats keeping you stuck in the cycle. The question is why do we do this? why don't we ever want to look at what's really going on? Well one reason is that your brain already thinks it has the answer, you answer this question unconsciously with "because I'm a failure, I have no discipline or willpower, I just can't control myself" If something isn't working, you have to look at it with curiosity. The reason isn't because you just love to drink, or you're terrible at saying no or because there is something wrong with you. Do you wanna know what the REAL reason is? Comment below with a YES or contact me today, if you want help with uncovering what the real underlying issue is!
13.01.2022 During long weekends & holidays we tend to use it as an excuse to throw in the towel when it comes to our health & fitness goals. It doesn't have to be all or nothing, there's no need to sabotage your efforts. Yes, we're likely to overindulge & consume more than usual around this time of year, but that doesn't mean those few days have to roll into weeks, months & then into the new year. ... There’s nothing wrong with letting loose & enjoying the holidays & skipping a workout here and there. Believe it or not, doing this, is actually what will help you stay on track. It isn't the occasional indulgence or missed workout that causes the downward spiral. The real issue is the lack of consistency, the black & white thinking & your need to strive for perfectionism. If you don’t find a balance between indulging & being committed, you will end up feeling deprived, which can lead to full-blown binges & the result of these binges usually leads to feelings of guilt which is what can start the downward spiral. Slip-ups, temptations & unplanned events around this time of year can & will happen but the most detrimental thing you can do is beat yourself up over them and give up altogether. When you deprive yourself or try to force yourself to exercise when you don't have the energy doesn't necessarily lead to faster results either, it may initially get you results but its not sustainable & won't guarantee a lifestyle change that actually creates the results that last. So cut yourself some slack but at the same time that doesn't mean its ok to justify or make up excuses for letting that one slip up or event be the reason to give up altogether, make sure you plan ahead and if you do over do it, just accept those situations for what they are, learn from them, pick yourself back up & keep moving forward. When you're staying consistent, holding high standards for yourself, living true to your values & working towards your goals it means you can actually go out and enjoy life and do the things you love totally guilt-free. Reaching your goals is all about consistency, not perfection. Balance leads to consistency & consistency leads to being successful.

12.01.2022 Part 1: why your current strategies arent working and what to do about it.
11.01.2022 The only person that can help you change is you! It takes time, practice, and investment in yourself. You have the ability and the skills to forge the life of your dreams, you just have to put in the time.
09.01.2022 It's that horrible feeling of uncertainty when life all of a sudden changes, when it's going well, everything is lined up just the way you want it, and then something beyond your control comes along and throws you off course. You start minimizing your struggles saying, Ill be fine, it's no big deal. It feels like you're just complaining about something trivial and insignificant compared to other peoples problems so instead you undermine your feelings, brush it off, and con...vince yourself that you don't need help and you can work through it yourself. So instead of being ok with not being ok you try to act tough and push through pain, whilst silently struggling. Can you relate? I know I can! Dealing with any kind of change can be scary, whether it's expected or unexpected. Either way it's a natural part of life, the reality is nothing last forever. But knowing that doesn't make it any easier to deal with, especially when you have to let go of something that's been such an integral part of your identity, something you've loved and valued so much, whether that's losing a person, a role, job, sport, etc. One thing that helps me deal with change is reminding myself that every time I go through a jarring transition or whenever I've felt lost or empty it's always opened up and allowed for other opportunity's to surface and has forced me to explore new parts of myself that I otherwise wouldnt of. When one door closes, another one opens! But at first I know it's not easy to move our attention away from the closing door due to attachment and the fear of the new and unknown especially if you weren't ready to close that door to begin with, but what I do know is, if I don't stop these unhelpful thought patterns and start to challenge the meaning I'm attaching to this situation it will only result in me continuing to focus on what's out of my control causing me more pain, and frustration. So instead, I have to ask myself do these thoughts help me in any way, or are they creating further suffering? Are these thoughts preventing change or allowing for other opportunities to arise? Right now whether I like it or not, I have to remind myself that change is necessary if I want to keep growing, this situation I'm currently facing is creating new perspectives and new experiences and ultimately is helping me build resilience and strength. It's forcing me to be comfortable with the ambiguity of life, its now time to embrace the uncertainties, focus on what I do have control over, have acceptance of whats out of our control, choose to do faith instead of fear, knowing that I might not know exactly how things are going to work out but whatever does happen I know with absolute certainty that I'm able to adapt to it and overcome it.
09.01.2022 I have just created a PDF called "Hangover Damage Control". Providing you with some helpful tips to ensure you guys dont allow that one night of indulgence turn into a fuck it moment where you completely throw in the towel, fall off the wagon, and lose sight of all your goals. Because I know everybody wants to be successful and have their shit together, we all strive for this so called healthy balanced lifestyle, yet we can't seem to find it or maintain it because we're stuck in this vicious cycle with an all or nothing mentality. By being a part of this challenge I will show you that it doesn't have to be that way, and it is possible to go out in social situations and remain in complete control without having to worry about it turning into full blown binge, bender or allowing it to affect your work performance or fitness goals. This is a rare opportunity, I won't be doing this very often. So do don't miss out! All you have to do today is join my FB group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/breakingthebingecycle/ More information will be released in the coming weeks.
09.01.2022 When working with me you will learn skills in how to manage your mind: your thoughts, emotions, and how to finally overcome those compulsive urges i.e to binge/emotional eat, drink, gamble, or whatever your choice of behaviour is that you do to cope. I will teach you how to become more consciously aware of your thoughts so you can learn to challenge them, especially the thoughts filled with justifications and excuses that stop you from taking action and making those necessa...ry changes. These are what we call permission-giving thoughts. By using these excuses and justifications youre essentially giving yourself permission to keep things the same and keep these unhealthy habits alive. Why do we do this even though it keeps us stuck and creates long term negative consequences ? Because your brain only cares about finding pleasure, avoiding pain, and doing things as efficiently as possible and change is not efficient, its the opposite to all of that, so of course youre going to want to use all these justifications and excuses so you continue to stay safe and sit in your comfort zone. Your brain will always continue to seek instant gratification, i.e resting, eating, drugs, alcohol, etc and it will continue to resist change unless you start taking control, and you can do this simply by starting to become more consciously aware of these unhelpful thought patterns and then learn the skills to challenge them. Its all about giving up what we want now for what we want most later. #mindsetcoach #prioritiesfirst #createyourlife #breakinghabits #cbt #emotionalintelligence #binging #mindset #settinggoals #motivational #healthyliving #challengeyourself
08.01.2022 Mind-reading. You assume to know what people are feeling and why they act the way they do, especially when it comes to how they feel about you. This is usually due to your own projections and biases. You can only comprehend that people feel the way you would and respond the way you do to certain situations, simply because you arent familiar with anything else. Catastrophizing. You always assume that the absolute worst will happen. It is to take random circumstances and to im...agine they are indicative of the most disastrous outcome. It is a symptom of not trusting oneself and not believing you have the capacity to adapt to change. If you imagine the worst is always happening, nothing can shock or surprise you. Personalization. You interpret everything that happens within the context of how it affects and applies to you. You think that everything people say or do is for or against you. It is the inability to realize that a world exists outside of how you engage with it. Other symptoms are trying to compare yourself to others, as though someone elses intelligence or attractiveness means something about your own. The basic thinking error is that you interpret each experience, each conversation, each look as a clue to your worth and value. Polarized thinking. All or nothing. Black and white. We have to be perfect or were a complete failure, theres no middle ground. Were either all in or all out. Which thought pattern do you identify with most? 05.01.2022 I dunno about you, but I use to always feel like there was 2 versions of myself, a good version and a bad version. Im either one or the other, Im either d...oing everything right, exercising, eating healthy and excelling at work, or Im the complete opposite, I would lack motivation, get the fuck its, giving myself permission to eat and drink whatever I wanted and just be lazy. Do you identify with these two versions of yourself, the good version and the bad version? Are you ever left wondering "how do I maintain and foster this good version of myself? Because you and I both know whenever we're managing to do EVERYTHING right then we feel great. Well, believe it or not the answer is you dont, because that is actually the problem. This isn't about creating a good version and then trying to maintain that whilst disregarding the bad" version. This type of thinking is what's keeping you stuck in the vicious cycle. This is what we call an all or nothing mentality which is usually fueled by perfectionism. If you struggle with this unhelpful thought pattern and would like to learn how to overcome it then make sure you be a part of my 5-day FREE challenge that I will be running in the coming weeks. In this 5 day challenge, I will be providing you with a bunch of free content, teaching you some strategies on how you can create and maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle including how you can start to overcome this all or nothing mentality that's keeping you stuck. 05.01.2022 Anything that requires change puts us out of our comfort zone, its automatically resisted because our brain is wired to avoid pain or discomfort. You have to know your WHY and your worth and make sure your desire to make the change is far bigger than your fears. Just know that the universe will never give you more then what you can handle and overcome, and theres always a lesson to be learned amongst it all.... Personal growth and personal development isnt supposed to be easy, its challenging, its confronting, it will be like standing in a mirror room, there will be nowhere to hide, there's no bullshit about it! But if you want big things in your life you have to go up steep hills... Why?? because its fucking worth it! Its what its all about. Nobody ever became strong and resilient from having an easy life. We don't have to keep living our lives the way we always have, so I dont know why we always keep settling for second best, if you want more from your life and you want big things then do it...stop getting in your own way because lets face it, that's the only thing that's really stopping you. So proud of you of my client Violet for getting vulnerable and doing the hard work, this shit isnt easy, but I promise its worth it.
04.01.2022 If you want to understand why you're feeling stressed, resistant or stuck, it's usually because you are carrying around your own set of preconceived beliefs and ideas of how things should or shouldn't be. When we're resisting, we're deciding that something isnt the way we would like it to be and when we rely on the world only ever acting in accordance with our expectations, that's when we end up eventually feeling disappointed, frustrated, angry, or upset. You're creating th...ese unpleasant emotions by thinking that life is supposed to be a certain way or by thinking your life was supposed to be some other way. For example I'm supposed to be thinner, I should be earning more money, I'm supposed to be married with kids by now, I'm supposed to have lost this weight, I should be further along in my career now, etc. Use this situation to motivate you into taking action and change your circumstance or, if you can't change your circumstance because it's out of your control then change your blueprint, change your expectations. This is all about being open to painting a new picture, a new perception of what life could be like, and how to potentially get your needs met differently. Remember the events in your life are not the problem, they are just events, your resistance to them is what's causing the problem. Just because you think it should be that way, doesn't mean it has to be. Dont get so stuck in your story. #changeyourmindset #lifecoach #expectations #blueprint #mindsetiseverything #blackandwhitethinking #unhelpfulthinking

03.01.2022 I UNDERSTAND WHAT ITS LIKE TO: Struggle with an all or nothing mentality - restrict all week, binge all weekend, with no in-between. Treat life in isolation, where you focus all your time and energy trying to fix one area of your life while the other areas get neglected and fall by the wayside.... Remain stuck, never progressing, or seeing your true potential. Feel guilt and shame when you eat bad, skip a workout or wake up hungover, constantly breaking those promises you made with yourself. Have an unhealthy relationship with food, obsessing with counting calories, the number on the scales, and exercising excessively in fear of gaining weight. IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO: Have a healthy balanced lifestyle, where you can reach your full potential, and achieve all your goals whilst still indulging in the things you love without it compromising your health, fitness, and lifestyle goals? Be in a social situation where you can still enjoy yourself guilt-free without the urge to overindulge or restrict. Be in complete control of your thoughts, emotions, and habits Build confidence and self-worth that isnt conditional on what you weigh or how good you are being Overcome obstacles and setbacks without avoiding them or trying to use food, drugs, or alcohol to cope. Through my program Ive helped a number of people overcome these exact issues, and the reason Im so passionate about this, is because like you, I used to feel helpless and stuck in the vicious cycle of being on and off the wagon, and never being unable to find that healthy balance between it all. I was either exercising daily and eating super healthy or I was out bendering every weekend and ordering UberEATS most nights. My Breaking The Binge Cycle method is the most effective way to finding a healthy balanced lifestyle because it stops you from being stuck in that all or nothing mentality where you think can only have it one way or the other.
