25.01.2022 The 5 seconds up , 5 seconds down rule can also be used for body weight exercises...for example PUSH UPS ,SQUATS, TRICEP DIPS. do 4 sets of 10 then 1 set to exhaustion with 1 minute rest between sets .have fun ,feel the burn .

24.01.2022 Just because you don't have "heavy" weights it doesnt mean you can't do weight training .... with the heaviest weights you do have, do 5 seconds up , 5 seconds down x 10 reps x 4 sets , then do a 5th set to exhaustion. rest 1 minute between sets. This can be used for bench press( on the floor) ,curls ,lateral raises,shoulder press and many more ...you will feel the burn .

01.01.2022 To help blend exercise into your daily routine why not try exercising during add breaks while watching TV ....Two benefits come from this 1.you dont have to "find the time " to exercise 2. it stops you from raiding the fridge during the add breaks . You can focus on one exercise for each day eg. 10 burpees every add break on Monday ,20 push up every add break on Tuesday etc.....or you can mix it up and do a different exercise each break , you can start setting challenges an...d try and beat your last count , the possibilities are endless. The point is you are moving and staying fit without needing to find extra time but make sure you're not too easy on yourself and remember ... NO CUPCAKES. If you're watching Netflix or a movie just set an alarm every half an hour and do 5 minutes of exercise by the end of the night you would of done at least half an hours worth of exercise . See more
