23.01.2022 Hello, how are we all doing? I am Riccardo from TransformFIT. I am sure I do not need to tell or inform you of what is not only happening around us from a co...mmunity level, but also on a global scale. I am sure the media is doing a good job of that. These are tough times. These are times of uncertainty, and It is hard to avoid or try and ignore of what is going on around us. We either here it on the radio or see it on TV. It is all over the media. Our conversations with others always seem to be on the topic of this global issue. It is occupying our minds and the words we utter. This can have an impact on our overall well-being. It can impact the way we think, and in turn it can become a snowball effect to the rest of our body, both physically and mentally. So, I have decided to introduce a 21-Day Bulletproof challenge. What does Bulletproof mean? The formal meaning is capable of resisting or absorbing the impact of a bullet. Now I am not talking about this in the literal sense, but on a metaphorical level. And in some sense, we are all trying to doge bullets all around us. Bullets from the media, our thoughts can become bullets to our minds, and our everyday challenges can also be bullets we are trying to doge or weave. We are all trying to adapt to these constant changes that we are all going through. Which in turn it can have a detrimental impact in the way we think, behave and act. We are being told on how we move, restricted on what we can do, and where we can go. Sometimes this can make no sense and leaves us confused. We can either allow this to control us, or we can choose to become bulletproof. Let us not allow what is happening around us control the way we think, and the positivity we can do not only for ourselves, but for those around us as well. Therefore, I have introduced this bulletproof challenge, so we can build a defence mechanism for our selves during these trying times. It all starts with a thought process, and then we turn that thought into a positive action. So, for the next 21 days I am going to take part in the bulletproof challenge. This is a movement I have started with my fellow COM Marketing ninjas . We can do this so we can inspire not only ourselves, but others around us. So, it is time to start flooding the feeds with some positivity, which in turn I hope it will share some light and love to those around us. Let us choose to bulletproof ourselves in a way of gratitude and kindness focusing on the blessing from above, and the blessings that surround us from our relationships, family, and friends to acts of kindness. So, this will go for 21 days starting tomorrow and end on the 1st of September, which is the 1st day of spring. Spring is time and symbol for growth and new beginnings. As with the classic version of this exercise, the key muscles which are used during a banded pull up are the chest mus...cles, specifically the pecs; the biceps and triceps in the upper arm; the muscles of the shoulder and upper back; and to an extent the abdominals and core. What are the benefits of resistance band push-ups? The main benefit of the resistance band push up is the variance in muscle load towards the end of the movement. Basically, with a classic push up or weighted push-up, as you lower your body towards the ground, the load on your muscles remains the same. This bottom part of the pushup, as your arms are splayed at the shoulder, is the point at which the risk of injury is highest. Removing some of this load, as you approach the lowest point of the push-up, reduces this risk. This is precisely what happens with push up resistance bands - as you lower your body, the band is less tightly stretched, and therefore the load decreases. #wetherillpark #fitness #health
