23.01.2022 Client Yu Sen Yang started training with us 2 years ago looking to help him recover from a pesky injured shoulder. 21.01.2022 Awesome work Colleen! She managed to lose 10kgs in 12 weeks without even focusing on weight loss! Here are a few words she had to say about training with us.... I have really benefited from training with Adam. It has made me Stronger, fitter, really confident about using the gym equipment and being in the gym, doing challenging weights and not worried about hurting myself. I’m much more tuned into how much I am sleeping, drinking water, I’m getting up earlier, and happy about dropping quite a few kilos. I most certainly eat better now, despite thinking that I was already doing do. I’m pretty confident that I have made some good long-term changes on all of the above, which I am really happy about. The PT sessions together were very good, Enjoyable and I learned a lot, Adam ensured I worked hard, but it was painless. Adam has a really good manner for training - calm and measured, direct, patient and always helpful. I appreciated that you gave me a lot of information about what was happening with muscles, or how the exercise would be working. Thanks for the exercises you gave me for home gym, and for travelling.

11.01.2022 Happy New Year! With the new year and the new decade comes new years resolutions! Unfortunately a large percentage of people will give up on their new years resolution before the end of Jan. When you have a big goal such as a new years resolution, it generally takes big changes to achieve the goal. The most important change in mindset that needs to take place to achieve any goals is to understand that you must now make decisions based on that goal and not give in to short ter...m pleasure along the way. An important question you should ask yourself on a daily basis and whenever making decisions that impact your goal is 'Will this help me to achieve my big goal?' If every decision you make answers YES to this question then your lifestyle will soon align to your goal and you will achieve it! This is a very simple strategy that works if you are true to yourself and your goal. 10.01.2022 Do you have a recurring pain or injury? The body is very smart and can heal itself from just about any injury or ailment with the correct rest. Unfortunately when the pain is gone from a recurrent injury it doesn't automatically mean that you are better. If you have a recurrent injury there is usually an underlying problem that is causing your injury to return time after time. This may be due to poor posture, muscle imbalances among many other things. The key to fixing a recu...rrent injury is the correcting of these underlying factors, most of the time the site of the injury may just be the weakest point and not actually the cause of the injury at all. So if you go to a physio for a hamstring strain and they give you exercises to strengthen your hamstring this may just be like putting a band-aid on a broken bone, it may get better but it doesn't fix the underlying problem. The key to understanding the cause of an injury is a thorough movement and posture analysis and using those findings as a tool to find the cause of the problem.
