16.01.2022 Just saw this on social media, not great quality but the message is real. Children learn from their parents, they copy the language and mimic what they see. Teach kindness, understanding, compassion and empathy. Embrace differences.Words matter. What are your children learning from you?

11.01.2022 There is often common inaccurate myths/thoughts around people with disabilities in our society. The more we see people with disabilities in our lives, media, movies , magazines the more these inaccuracies can be addressed. Everyone deserves to see representation of themselves on tv, in movies, and on social media. Often people with disabilities when they do appear in media its as someone to be pitied or be taken care of, this is slowly changing. We cant wait to see people with all different types of disabilities represented in media and create strong role models in the future. https://themighty.com//08/bbc-down-syndrome-a-word-series/
10.01.2022 The best thing about the future is it comes one day at a time! One day Ill have a job working with animals. One day Ill be an actor One day Ill be in politics ... One day my disability wont matter One day Ill not care when you stare at me One day youll stare at me and see my potential One day Ill be invited to all the cool parties But today Ill keep stepping towards one day See more

08.01.2022 New shoes :adaptive clothing, how cool is this, no more laces .for someone with Dyspraxia this is a game changer, great ideas that make life so much more enjoyable and easier. Little things we can all take for granted can create large challenges for others, simple fix that could easily be more mainstream. They look great too

04.01.2022 If youre in lockdown like we are here in Melbourne, are you taking time out for you? Getting enough sleep, nourishing yourself with good food, staying connected with family and friends plus daily exercise are all some of the things that can help you get through lockdown. Check on others but equally important look after yourself.
