08.01.2022 Have you ever actually thought that maybe our bodies don't need rest to feel rested?. Strange thought I know. Ok let me ask you this question. Have you ever gone to bed tired but just can't seem to get relaxed. Have you have restless legs or you can't seem to find that spot that works? Maybe that's because you body is under stimulated. Giving your body the chance to get blood pumping into your muscles can actually allow them to feel more relaxed and rested. This does not mean... you have to go and do a heavy weights session or run a marathon. It just means getting good circulation of blood through your muscles. It could be as simple as a stretching session or some time on a foam roller. It could be anything that allows the blood to flow through the muscle, flush out the lactic acid and let the muscle rest.
