25.01.2022 Last week these ladies introduced me to the Get up Sally core challenge which we then did together and then I showed them the Nutbush plank challenge The challenge was accepted and a week later they Nutbushed for a whole minute! Planks are challenging enough on there own let alone throwing in heart starter moves, directional changes and core strength. 20.01.2022 You don’t need a massive space to workout in, you can still break a sweat and have an effective workout in any space with minimal equipment or just using your own body weight. Yesterday we had an hour session in the lounge room with stations and 2 other drills, lots of fun
19.01.2022 The kettlebell swing strengthens your core, glutes, hamstrings, quads, back, shoulders and arms. Research shows that kettlebell swings improves balance and posture, even for elite athletes. When you use a kettlebell, you naturally learn what good posture feels like. Swinging the kettlebell can also have benefits on grip strength.
18.01.2022 This is Deb, Deb has been coming to my classes since I started out at the Surf Club and comes 3 days a week without fail. When Deb first started she couldn’t even lift the battlerope or make it through the 30 seconds of work time. Deb is now smashing it and not only swinging that rope like a champion for the whole 30 seconds she is also doing star jumps and the other cardio exercises we do without stopping also. So proud of you Deb, you have come so far in such a short amount of time and you should be very proud of yourself

07.01.2022 Tomorrows 9.30am class will be a 6 stations x 3 workout hitting all of the bodies muscles. The first 6 stations will be a leg workout, followed after will be our next 6 stations which will target the upper body and the 3rd 6 stations will be cardio and core. I have included sandbags, kettlebells & battle ropes in this workout, come down and give it a try. Were located in the Surf Club at North Haven beach, walk straight up the stairs around the back. 07.01.2022 Piriformis syndrome is often related to weak hamstrings, glutes and hips. Completing exercises such as lunges and squats will help strengthen those muscle groups and support the piriformis. Piriformis syndrome can be painful, but the methods for curing it are straight-forward.

02.01.2022 Don’t let one slip up derail your mindset. As humans we think, oh well I’ve eaten a bad meal now I may as well just eat crap for the rest of the day or the rest of the week, I’ll start again on Monday. Or, I have missed my workout today, that’s it, it’s all over, I have failed, I’ll start again next week. No one is perfect, let that sink in for a moment, NO ONE IS PERFECT!... Life is busy and gets in the way at times and you’re going to miss workouts. If you want a piece of chocolate, eat that piece of chocolate and don’t feel guilty about it, did you eat a cheeseburger with the kids or slip into the drive thru on your own, enjoy it and move on! Don’t use one bad meal, or a missed workout as an excuse to give up, don’t use one bad meal or a missed workout to feel guilty for the rest of the day and curse yourself for it. Moderation is key, and tomorrow is a new day
02.01.2022 This is Deanne, when I told Dee about my business venture before I started she was only too happy to help in anyway she could, helping set up, making circuit cards and pushing and motivating me, I pushed and motivated her to get fit for herself and over that time she has become one of my rocks and best mates. Dee came to my very first class back in August 2020 and has been coming to my classes 3 days a week since. To date Dee has lost 2 dress sizes, her level of confidence in... what she wears was one of her motivators. I have watched her grow from feeling very self conscious and wearing a long T-shirt and refusing to wear shorts to completely taking me by surprise and showing up to class in a pair of shorts and looking banging in them.
