22.01.2022 What a morning to run 17km in a Green Lycra dragon suit. Pacing for 10,5 & 2k Beachside Dash runs done. Love helping people to achieve their goal time. Especially getting the kids to sprint the finish chute.

19.01.2022 Thanks Joel for your feedback about getting the commitment to try your first run back after an injury or illness. If you are worried or struggling to get out for that run or workout after a break, here is my advice. Firstly pick a session that will get your heart rate up. A bit of a challenge but something you know you can complete. Set a date and time. Then write down your thoughts and feelings prior to the session. Next get the session done. Lastly write down how you felt afterwards. More often than not the fears you had At the start are far outweighed by the sense of achievement at the end. Keep this info for next time. 05.01.2022 My Christmas day survival guide: 1. Exercise in the morning to help, you know you're going to over indulge later. 2. Remember portion control especially at lunch. Have a small plate first. Then have a glass of water. 3. Remember we are in the Southern Hemishpere - stay hydrated. 4. Enjoy yourself. It only happens once a year. Have a great Christmas and enjoy the break.

01.01.2022 All I want for Christmas is some Serotonin....serotonin is a pleasure neurotransmitter ( happy chemical) in the brain. People who exercise regularly tend to have higher levels of serotonin according to better health channel. Santa may not be able to bring you serotonin but adopting exercise as a part of your routine may just do it.
