24.01.2022 With all the craziness going on in the world at the moment, many of my clients (and myself) seem to be really struggling with getting a solid sleep. When I say solid, I mean falling asleep and STAYING asleep! By now I’m sure you’re well aware of how important sleep is for your wellbeing, so, here’s a few tips to help get your routine back on track! ... Create a routine around sleep. Go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day. Limit caffeine at least six hours before bed. No screens in the bedroom for at least 1 hour before bedtime. Exercise regularly Avoid daytime naps Ensure you get 10 minutes of unfiltered sunlight each morning. 19.01.2022 Kale chips are a favourite in our house and on the menu (accompanying salmon) tonight!!! 1 bunch kale 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, divided 1 tablespoon ACV vinegar... 1 pinch sea salt, to taste - Cut away inner ribs from each kale leaf and discard; tear the leaves into pieces of uniform size. - In a large bowl massage kale in olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle the vinegar over the kale leaves. Spread the leaves evenly onto a baking sheet. - Bake in 180 degree preheated oven until chips are crispy! @inspirewellnessaustralia

Know what meals you are inten...ding to have for the week and go in with a list. 2. Shop locally and in season. Foods that are in season have a greater nutritional value than foods that aren't, plus they taste better! 3. Shop organic where possible. It may not be affordable for everyone to shop organic but google the dirty dozen and make buying these foods organic a PRIORITY! 4. Don't shop hungry! 5. Don't buy foods that aren't on your Metabolic Balance food list! 6. When you get home wash and chop your fresh product before refilling the fridge. This not only helps get you ready for the week but will also extend the life of your fruits and veggies! 03.01.2022 Name a better combo? Ocean + sunrise + movement. Seriously, exercise barefoot on the beach is so grounding. By removing your shoes you’re using a whole heap of different muscles ++ not to mention the instability of the soft sand which fires off even more muscles. My philosophy around exercise is to work smarter, not harder. Over the years I’ve learned that a gentle approach is far more effective than smashing yourself. 03.01.2022 Hey, I’m Lauren and welcome back to my Insta (thanks for sticking around)! It’s been a hot minute since my last post (on this page) soo. I think I owe you a little explanation. Over the past few months I have been busy working away at Inspire Wellness, helping 100’s of clients achieve their full potential through nutrition. I have had a hiatus from this account whilst I was getting well acquainted with my job. HOWEVER, I am back - with so much energy to jump back in and cont...inue sharing my passion for health and wellness with my little community here. Over the past year, my path has changed completely - which has been a huge adjustment but I am grateful for how things have worked out. Here is a little about me and what I do + a few fun facts! I am a fully qualified clinical nutritionist and a proud member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association. I am a personal trainer of 7 years and have owned and operated a thriving women’s wellness program, worked in boutique gyms with a range of clients and facilitated large group training sessions. The Fit Nutritionist was born out of my love for helping those around me achieve optimum health. As a practitioner, my focus is on reconnecting my patients with their bodies. I do this by utilising up-to-date research, lab testing and evidence-based nutritional medicine, including individualised nutritional supplementation and compounds. It was through my own health struggles that I have learned to implement evidence-based holistic practices when integrating both dietary and exercise programs. The areas I am most passionate about are female hormones, gut health and mental health. I live in Bargara, Queensland with my Fiancé, Dylan and our Aussie Shepherd, Ziggy. We’re building our first home! I am enrolled to study for my Masters. My favourite place is Peregian Beach where I’m lucky enough to have an (old) family beach house.
