24.01.2022 SMOKED CHICKEN AND CRANBERRY SALAD Serves 2 300-400g smoked chicken (buy from deli at supermarket) Sliced 80g dried cranberries 100g snow peas or sugar snap peas... Choice lettuce-spinach, rocket, etc 1 avocado 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 bunch watercress optional Dressing 1/2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tbsp walnut oil 2 tbsp lemon juice 1-2 tbsp chopped parsley, thyme or other herbs Chop the avocados and sprinkle lemon juice over to stop from browning. Arrange the lettuce on 2 plates. Place the chicken, snow peas, avocado, cranberries and watercress on top. Mix all the dressing ingredients together and spoon over the salad.

23.01.2022 APPLE COLESLAW serves 3-4 1/2 small chinese cabbage, shredded 1-2 tart apples grated or chopped finely (I like granny smiths in this recipe) 1 large stalk celery chopped... 1 red capsicum finely chopped 1/8 cup olive or flaxseed oil juice from 1 large lemon salt to taste 1 tsp celery seed-optional Toss all salad ingredients together in a bowl. Whisk oil, lemon, salt and celery seed or shake in a jar. Drizzle over salad.

17.01.2022 Meet Lisa and hear what she has to say about her FitterFaster journey! Why did you decide to join FitterFaster? I needed some more physical activity in my life and my activity back then was coming to an end. I drive passed your drive way every time I go to Maryborough so I thought that’d make it harder to forget about and perfect to drop in for a session on my way to run errands.... Before joining, what were your biggest concerns about starting? If I had the stamina. I don’t think I had many hesitations about you all. I think it was all me. Being far to travel makes it tricky and an extra level of planning. Have we addressed those? We’ve had discussions on how to balance exercise at home and in group. So I feel I’ve got the opportunity to balance my life. Still in the process working this out. Had you tried other options for improving fitness, losing weight or shaping up prior to joining? How did they work for you? I’ve done fitness and weight loss in various forms. I’ve been very successful and less successful. And then had three kids and got off track every pregnancy. I think the biggest difference here is the support available and the group of encouraging people in the same boat. I love the accountability and the health approach rather than just exercise or just diet. Is FitterFaster helping you to achieve your goals so far? Yes. Helping me stay focused. What other benefits have you seen or felt as a result of our programs? I’ve made some lovely friends. My family is joining in in exercise and we’re having some fun together. I have basically never done workouts at home before but now I’m getting inspired and that inspires my family. What surprised you most about our programs? That it has such a big focus on nutrition. Would you recommend FitterFaster and why? Yes! Always available if I’ve got questions. Friendly group of people on all levels of fitness and ages. Lots of mums and small kids so if I need to bring my kids it’s fine and that’s one excuse scratched off the list. Love the challenges (fitness and/or nutrition) and the small facebook groups of accountability and sharing ideas. The combination of face to face and online from home

17.01.2022 SUPER EASY FRITTATA Frittatas are one of those meals that are super easy to prepare and cook, yummy and nutritious - protein (eggs) and veggies. Just perfect. You can prepare and eat straight away, or store in the fridge and take take a slice to school or work or eat as a snack any time. ... Equally delicious hot or cold This is a basic recipe to start. But feel free to add your own veggie combos and other flavours. Honestly, these are easy and pretty much foolproof. INGREDIENTS 10-12 large eggs 5- 6 bacon rashes cut into chunks 1-2 brown or red onions diced or sliced thinly 200g spinach tomatoes sliced to cover 3-4 tbls wholegrain mustard (or try your favourite YIAH dip or spice mixes) salt and pepper to taste coconut oil to cook Perheat oven 180 degrees Heat the oil in a large oven proof frypan and cook the onion and bacon till the onion is cooked Meanwhile, beat the eggs, mustard, salt/pepper and spinach. When the onion and bacon are ready, add the eggs to the pan, distribute the bacon and onion quickly if needed and cook on medium till its is all set around the edges. Lay the tomato over the top and pop the entire thing into a preheated oven till just browning on the top.

03.01.2022 Meet Lyndall and read what she has to say about her FitterFaster journey I decided to join FitterFaster to loose weight and also to do something for myself. My biggest concerns about starting was how unfit I was and whether I would be able to keep up. Group exercise has never really been my thing, I soon realised it didn’t matter if I was the slowest or unfittest. I was welcomed and encouraged at my first session.... I’ve tried other things in the past which worked but weren’t maintainable. So far FitterFaster has helped me loose over 10kgs through consistent training and a healthy diet I’ve recently been able to add peakfit to my week which I’m really enjoying. Running a business and having a toddler I thought I wouldn’t be able be consistent but it has helped not only my mental health but my overall well-being. It surprised me how encouraging and supportive everyone can be, not only the trainers but the others that train at FitterFaster as well. I would highly recommend FitterFaster as I have to many of my friends and clients. Once you go you won’t look back!
