25.01.2022 Blessings and love for Christmas. Great opportunity to reflect, spend time with loved ones, connect with those that you haven't spoken to and share the love. This morning we woke up in matching pajamas, opened our presents made with love , patience and passion by miss 7. I totally appreciated my broken thongs lovingly glued back together and blinged up, wrapped and given back to me!! ;) Time to appreciate the small things and get back to basics, 2021 is going to be a roller... coaster ride... 13.01.2022 ELECTION DAY Today!! 4 hours to go and the marathon is finished!! What a crazy few months with a full on 2 weeks pre polling... So many experiences, if I thought I was already strong I have just stepped it up 20 notches!... The Informed Medical Options Party 31 candidates have been absolute troopers, standing in their power and truth, so proud to be standing beside all of them. Thank you to all the supporters, the love, help and kind words... Thee are so many amazing people out there!! The day isn't over if you can get to a polling booth please do!! ... More the merrier. 06.01.2022 Don't underestimate the power of one person. Cause and Effect Deb Frecklington QLD Liberal Party State Leader lost the seat of Nicklin for Liberal MP Marty Hunt because of her decision to defame the Informed Medical Options Party - IMOP and stating the party did NOT deserve to be on the ballot paper putting IMOP below Labor on their how to vote cards. ... Because of Deb's decision I made the tough call and put Liberal last on my how to vote cards in the Nicklin Electorate.... By doing this my 4% of preferences ultimately lost Marty Hunt his seat. The Friday BEFORE prepolling I rang Marty's office and left a message stating that I was putting him last on my how to vote and stated there is a HUGE pro choice community in Nicklin and that he may lose his seat because of MY decision, he had time to change his how to vote card, I would have done so accordingly, he never responded. In my opinion Marty is a better man than Robert, (whom it looks has now won the seat by just 79 votes) I was torn in my decision, but within the first few days of pre polling Marty declared that he supported Deb's decision, calling us "fruit loops" and endangering children. In front of a friend and supporter, I thanked him for declaring his hand and telling me the truth. His fate was now in his hands... Ironically Marty was there every hour and everyday of pre polling he stated he was doing this as he would "hate to lose by just a few votes"... How ironic... As far as I'm concerned the Liberal Party chose to lose the QLD Election as there was little to NO opposition ... at this stage it looks like Marty and the Liberal party just lost the seat of Nicklin. 06.01.2022 Earlier this year I had a vision.... The vision was to have 40 Informed Medical Options Party candidates standing in the QLD Election. The vision was to use the political platform to make a stand, raise awareness, educate and stand beside the candidates to make a difference. IMOP had 31 passionate, caring, dedicated people standing as a candidate to protect everyone's future and make a difference. We were on 930,000 ballot papers, had signs everywhere, handed out truck load...s of flyers, got to speak at events, advertised on the TV, did a tour of QLD reaching people that would never have known anything different, we gave people a choice and without a doubt reached many people. What an amazing achievement. Mainstream media mostly ignored us, the volunteers and candidates often mocked and provoked us, the public tried to ignore us, but we were there all standing strong, we didn't budge and stood tall and proud, knowing and sharing the truth. QLD isn't ready for change they voted for pain and suffering, sadly dragging us with them and we have to endure more torture and pain. Vote the same, get the same. Most can't see that we can have such a beautiful, happy, healthy abundant future for all... Australia should be the lucky country... We have planted many seeds, learnt many lessons and I know regardless of the outcome we will rise from the ashes. Blessings to all those that helped and contributed. I know we did our best and regardless of the outcome I am so proud and will do it again and again until we achieve the outcome we ALL deserve.
