He has a wealth of knowledge and works extremely hard to land those cracking fish some only dream of, all while ensuring you’re having a laugh along the way. 11.01.2022 Aparantly it’s been Eat.Drink.Fish.Repeat so any updates have been slow to come through. Now the boys are home and resting up I’ve managed to get a few snaps come through. It was a bit of a rocky start but the boys managed to take our 3rd in the Samaki Round - Peter Faust Dam with some cracking fish caught through out the tournament. Congratulations Deano and Rick!... Tell us how our other Rocky teams went!

The guys from Iron Jack have been a long time supporters of the Fitzroy River Barra Bash and are itching to get back out on the water with everyone! Good luck boys!

03.01.2022 Just some of the snaps from the last few days. We had over 240 fish hit the deck (Barra & Threadfin), with the biggest Barramundi coming in at 98cm and biggest Threadfin Salmon coming in at 134cm! Your average size was around 40cm which is promising for next year as they're only going to grow! Also landed was a Juvenile Queensland Groper, which is not something you see every day and shows just how healthy the eco-systems are. The water is extremely clean, the cleanest it has... been in a long time which is great and FULL of prawns. Makes your job as an angler that little bit harder as I'm sure they'd rather chomp on fresh feed, but is still really great to see. Congratulations again to all teams!
