05.01.2022 Today the 11th of January 2021 Fivebough Brigade will be doing a control burn in the Stony Point area. Around Coughlan Road.

04.01.2022 This morning on the way home from town, I stopped at an incident where a lady had been injured and suffered burns to both hands. Members of the community were f...irst on scene and ensure the fire was extinguished. The lady was treated by Ambulance and with the Griffith SES attending to assist with removing her rings, which were given to here. Great work by all emergency services attending, FRNSW 311, NSW Police Griffith, NSW Ambulance and NSW SES Griffith. It is a timely reminder to ensure that all lighters and matches are out of reach of children and to explain to them matches and lighters are tools not toys and are not to be payed with.
