Please get in contact with us if you are interested in adopting them! Otherwise sharing this post can h...elp reach their future family! Xavier - 900079000634634 Xylo - 900079000634639

23.01.2022 Brrrr! Winter is here and our lovely Lizzie is showing us exactly what she thinks about it!! Our Senior’s May Need Extra Care... The cold weather can be harder on our older cats and dogs as, just like with people, the drop in temperature can aggravate joints stiff with arthritis. You should be mindful of keeping a healthy exercise regime during winter without over-doing it. Dog walks should take no more than 20 minutes a day over even ground. Exercise encourages good cir...culation and develops muscle tone. Extra weight on your pet will only worsen joint pain. Make sure your pet has a warm, comfortable rest haven away from draught areas and elevated off cold, hard surfaces such as concrete or floorboards. If you notice your pet is showing signs of discomfort associated with arthritis, you should bring them in for a vet check-up. Signs of pain or discomfort include stiffness, chewing or licking certain joints, difficulty walking up or down stairs, eating slowly and noticeable behavioural changes. Other quick tips: Seeking a heat source is a great way to keep your pet worm. As animals all love to find a warm place to lay either a spot in the sun or in front of the heater, keep it safe! Always watch your pets around heat and electrical source to avoid any injuries. Try a safer alternative such as a microwave cozy cushion heat disc. * if your little one does get burnt or chewed through active electrical wires please seek medical advice treat as soon as possible. Snuggle up at stay worm this winter!!

20.01.2022 They grow up so fast! Little Zuko has been coming to us ever since he found his fur-ever home. He graduated puppy preschool here at Five Dock Vets with flying colours and now has come back for desexing. Zuko was very brave and loved playing puppy dress up while getting spoilt from the nurses!

03.01.2022 A nice little throwback to end the week... Little Eric came to our clinic just over a year and a half ago. As he was so small we took him in and gave him to the mumma cat (Luna) we already at the clinic with her 6 babies to help raise this tiny kitten as one of her own. With all the love and support he has grown to be a gorgeous cat; Featuring in tv commercials and modelling for big w. We could not be any more proud of our little Eric!!! Each year we get many kittens handed into our clinic and thankfully they all find loving homes just like Eric!! If you have one of our lovely kittens please comment below with a picture of your fur-ever baby and let us know how they are going!!
