23.01.2022 Body aches and pains, inflexibility no matter how much you stretch? Your body and mind are continuously giving you feedback. I had a client in last week where she was experiencing pain in her lower back. This not only affected her general movement but when she was doing exercise and stretching it was affecting her range of movement.... She had been to multiple practitioners, physios, Chiros, massage therapist etc and while she got temp relief, it was never 100% better and would continue to get worse until she saw them again. Together we had a look at where the pain was and understood the story behind it. Pain in our muscle gives us an indication of what mental stresses are happening. When addressing and rebalancing the mental stresses, the pain released in the muscles and she also increase her flexibility, especially in her hamstrings. This is the difference in address the symptoms to address the underlying cause of the symptoms. When we address symptoms they will ease off for a while and keep returning until the underlying causes are addressed.

22.01.2022 YOUR DIET IS NOT ONLY WHAT YOU EAT... It is also what you watch, What you listen to, what you read,... the people you hang around. Be mindful of what you put in your body; physically, mentally and spiritually. They all affect your world equally. It is important to not just take peoples word at face value for what is good for us. Take it as a starting point to do your own research and to feel into your own body to see what sits well for you. We are all different and have different needs and wants. What in your diet needs to change?
21.01.2022 We are not given obstacles in life that we cant handle. Sometimes we may think we are faced with challenges that we are not equipped for. But the truth is that you have all the resources, skills and know-how to get through any situation that you are faced with. Sometimes we just need to learn on everything we know.... You can do it. 19.01.2022 WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY? Most of us just go about our day doing what needs to be done. Having breakfast, going to work, coming home, cooking dinner. Day in and day out. We can get so stuck in a 'doing' routine that we forget to fill out buckets up. We forget to stop and ask ourselves if this day to day routine is what we want. Let alone stopping to ask ourselves 'What Makes Me Happy?" ... When we forget to light ourselves us, we become disconnected from ourselves always, doing what needs to be done and what others need and not addressing what we really need as an individual to for fill our own lives. Today is a great day to ask yourself "What Makes Me Happy?" and make time for that. When we learn to fill our cup up first the other things we need to do become easier because we are doing them with ease, flow and from a balanced energetic perspective. JM xx
18.01.2022 IS THERE A CURE FOR ANXIETY? At the moment there are so many people that are suffering from immense anxiety and depression. More so than ever before. Through my practice, I am seeing the other side of this virus, the people who have tried to commit suicide, the kids suffering from immense anxiety to the point that they have stopped talking, the women who are being verbally abused from their partners. It's not pretty at all, but it is very much a part the reality of the curren...t circumstances and it will not stop until we go back to a life that is not as restricted. There are two points here that are important to acknowledge; - The emotional issues that we are having now are not new. They have been there for a long while. It is only when we are put under immense pressure that we are forced to feel them much more intensely than ever before, to the point that we cannot ignore them. - We DO NOT need to live with these intense feeling. We can transcend them. We can grow through them. We can heal them. I was reading my kid's school newsletter last week where it was written in big capital letters THERE IS NO CURE FOR ANXIETY. This made me cringe at first, but then re read it with curiosity. There are some people that really think that if they are an anxious person they are stuck that way forever. If you are one of these, please know that this is simply NOT TRUE. I have been working with people from all walks of life for the past 7yrs with anxiety. Mothers, children, CEOs, Entrepreneurs, Athletes and more to help them overcome their anxiety. To not only provide them with the tools to work through anxious moments, but to help them grow and move forward from anxiety altogether. So is there a cure? Yes, there is.
16.01.2022 Every manifestation is two subjects. Why you want it and why you don’t want it. When we look at how manifestation works, With your energy attracting your people, events and things into your life, when we don’t have what we want there is something inside of us that doesn’t want it.... If you are still trying to manifest something into your life the question needs to be what part of me does not want it? And that is the part that needs addressing and to be worked through.

14.01.2022 Business alignment isn't only about strategy, but it also about the mentality that executes the strategy. If you are coming from fear of failure, lack of confidence or desperation your strategy either won't work or won't work as well as it should. This is where we find we have the need to hustle to the point of exhaustion. ... If we take a look deeper at why we are not aligned to the goals we want to achieve and balance out the resistance, we will learn that ease and flow becomes a natural part of doing business. To get to the root cause of the self-doubt and the fear and heal that part of us. Let's do the inner work to get out of our own way. xx
09.01.2022 STAGES OF STRESS 1. IS THE FEELING This is the stage where we have all the feels. The anger, the frustration, the fear, the tension. Remember you don't need to reside here. It is not your place to live. ... 2. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The feelings are here for you to acknowledge something needs to be changed or accepted. Here we learn to use our observing minds to notice how we feel. This process alone allows us to disconnect some of the energy from the feeling. 3. ACTION We have felt it, we know what it is about through acknowledgement. Now we can take action. What do I need to do to evolve from this place of stress? Who do I need to speak to? What actions do I need to take?
08.01.2022 When we are stressed or overwhelmed the best thing to do is to disconnect from your outer world. Quiet down the noise outside of you, so you can honour and sort through the feelings inside of you. Only we can change the way we feel and the best place to do that is without the clutter, opinions and beliefs of others.... To connect in with self to recenter, rebalance and find direction. JM xx
05.01.2022 It's ok to be not ok. It's ok to feel sad It's ok to feel depressed It's ok to feel anxious... It's ok to feel upset It's ok to feel overwhelmed It's ok to feel all consumed It's ok to feel that there is no way out. Just know there are people you can talk to. You don't have to go through this alone. To those who do feel ok, just remember people that feel this way often have a brave face. Even if they look ok, it is always worth reaching out and asking the question. JM xx
03.01.2022 The stresses we face in life has a huge impact on both our mental and physical pain. The more stress we feel the tighter our muscles get, the stiffer our joints become and harder it is to think straight? Every day I help people identify the root cause of their stress to help rebalance and clear it.... Here is the thing, we already know what is stressing us out. Most of us choose to ignore it, not realising the toll it is taking on our whole system. Is it time to make some choices that reduce your stress load? JM xx
01.01.2022 During these times we are all engaged in a lot more screen time. Whether this is for work, leisure or our kids during homeschooling. It is really important to remember what screentime does. No matter how much we are on our devices, it changes the chemistry of our brain.... It disconnects neural pathways and can cause many side effects: - being tired quickly - not being able to think clearly - Increases anger - Slower reaction time both psychologically and physically - Decreases our ability to problem solve - Heightens Anxiety - Lower our IQ The more time we are on our devices the more impact it has on us. What I am seeing at the moment is a lot more anxiety in the younger generation due to homeschooling. My youngest has learning difficulties, so I have worked with his teachers to set as many activities as possibles off the computer, limited screen time especially on handheld devices and have noticed a huge growth and development with his learning. Remember to; - take a break as much as possible - ask yourself if it can be done off the screen - get your brain into the creative mode with drawing, cooking, painting, dancing. - Meditation, breathing exercises - Get active.
