17.01.2022 A nice drop of rain, 192mm over the past 4 days, just lovely. The cows are in the house yard and the dogs don't quite know what to do with that. Pigs are happy as they are in extra mud. Got a hankering for some @fivegullyfarm pork, head to #riverwaymeats and the Carnivore Candy Store, fresh delivery yesterday.

04.01.2022 Have you got back yard pigs? Yesterday I completed a telephone interview by Kantar on behalf of Biosecurity QLD about African Swine Fever (ASF), it took about 45 mins. The responses will feed into QLD/Australia's response to ASF, they said that they had not had many responses and would like to hear from pig producers large, small and even those who are the back yard dog/pig . ... There is an initial survey which took about 10 mins where you can opt in to have a phone survey with them, they will send you an $80 gift card for your time.
