25.01.2022 The Five Pillars Education Centre Office will be open all this week, during the school holidays starting from this Tuesday (06/10), 10am to 2.30pm. Information and Enrolment forms for 2021 will be available as well as any questions regarding all our children's programs.

25.01.2022 To those Muslims who don't see any harm in celebrating Christmas & New Year, what message are you sending to your children? That it's OK to participate in a bit of shirk? Really? That the most holiest of celebrations, Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha are not enough? That Issa (AS) was born on the 25/12? Where's the proof and since when do Muslims celebrate birthdays? That Allah (SWT) allows his servants to take part in other religious festivities?... Does Allah (SWT) not clearly say..... "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed my favour upon you and chosen for you Islam as a religion". (Qur’an, 5:3) You are role models for your children, stay true to your Deen and your children will grow to love Islam in its purity and they will ultimately respect you more.

23.01.2022 To coincide with the up and coming Blessed Month of Ramadan, Five Pillars Education Centre will be offering the following fun and exciting activities for the students. The intention In Sha Allah is to increase each student's knowledge about Islam, Ramadan and the importance of worshipping Allah(SWT). A super exciting "Pretend Iftaar" for the Tiny Pillars Pre-Kindy students and a "Salaah Competition" with exceptional prizes for our Shariah Madrassah students!
23.01.2022 Some were 4m long, some were 4cm long! Some had many teeth, some had no teeth! Some were slimy, some were scaly!... Some had 8 legs, some had no legs! Some ate leaves, some ate meat! Some were friendly and some were deadly! But ALL are the creation of Allah (SWT), who created ALL creatures large and small. Tiny Pillars Pre-Kindy Students this week were treated to a special visit by the Feature Creatures Reptile Show. Amongst all the fun and learning, the students were also able to hold, touch, pat and interact with these fascinating creatures. Masha Allah what a great day!

21.01.2022 The simple fact is that human beings, regardless of how advanced they become or how much technology they have or whether they have reached the moon or can make sophisticated supersonic planes & bombs, or mix embryos in test tubes, or even regrow human limbs ......they are still incapable and will always be incapable of preventing death. Allah(SWT) gives life and Allah(SWT) takes life. Humans, who were created weak, will always be prone to sickness, whether it be invisible or... not. Islam is the only way of life that has taught mankind how to guard against any sicknesses, dating back nearly 1500 years ago! Muslims eat halal, dress halal and clean themselves daily because Allah (SWT) wants good for them and to protect them from any sickness and that which is no good. Allah does not intend to inconvenience you, but He intends to purify you and perfect His favour to you, so that you may give thanks. (Quran, 5:6) These days non Muslims, many of whom have have been confined to their homes are also seeing the benefits of what we as Muslims have been following for centuries. The one thing that the Coronavirus has taught all of us is that Islam is the most modern, never ageing, beneficial religion of all time. It caters for the real needs of human beings and not the superficial ones. Alhamdulillah for Islam!

21.01.2022 Look who came to visit the Tiny Pillars students this week.....Old McPillars Farm Animals! Up close and personal inside the cage, the students were able to hug, pat, feed and play with all the farm animals. There was Rudy the Alpaca who loved getting his photo taken and a very feathery Japanese hen who confused the students as to the location of its head. ... But amongst all the baby lambs, baby goats(real kids), ducks, rabbits, chickens and a couple Guinea pigs (not real pigs just their name sake), the students truly enjoyed themselves. And of course, who could forget Zac the Shetland Pony. Cool, calm and collected Zac was the star of the show offering all the students continuous rides on his back and never once complaining. Great Day all round. Alhamdulillah

20.01.2022 The Arabs have a beautiful term of endearment they use when looking after someone else's child..... Translated:... 'Consider your son like my own son' or 'Consider your daughter like my own daughter'. Are these not the most soothing, caring and comforting words a parent loves to hear? We all know that a mother or father's love for their child is unconditional! So to hear those words said to you from someone who you are entrusting your child with, truly soothes the heart, especially when you know that the person looking after your child really means it! At Five Pillars Education Centre we consider ALL our students 'like our own children'... because we too have children and we too want what is best for them. Every child is precious and every child is someone's happiness. Alhamdulillah.

Your generous donations will be rewarded In Sha Allah!... Lesson: Sadaqa in Islam does not just come in the form of money. Food, clothes and other essentials are also important to help those in need and less privileged.
19.01.2022 Many a times we are told to lead by example. Many a times we tell our children, our students to also lead by example. But when Allah (SWT) tells us directly in the Qur'an, it becomes obligatory. "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah"... (Qur'an 3:110)... What a beautiful ayah from the Qur'an dedicated to the Muslim Ummah. Subhan Allah....if only we understood.

17.01.2022 Self image, friends, social media, information overload, western values, education, conflicting rights & wrongs, peer group pressure, parental pressure, ..........all are a mix of a teenagers daily lifestyle. But what differentiates a Muslim teenager from the others is Islam itself. Every Muslim knows that the world is only temporary and its the Afterlife that really counts. "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un". Surely we belong to Allah and surely to Him we shall return.... Today the Five Pillars Senior Madrassah students, along with many parents wanting to stay and listen, went on a field excursion to Rookwood Cemetery and received a very inspiring talk by Brother Shuv Homsi. Brother Shuv (also a funeral director) was kind enough to dedicate some time to remind our students about the trials of this life, using examples of real life Muslims who died on the wrong path and he had to bury them...sad indeed. He also spoke about the benefits of being a good Muslim, holding onto your Deen and gaining the rewards of Jannah. A truly emotional and important reminder for our teenagers as they make their way through the journey of life. 16.01.2022 Masha Allah what a beautiful day, filled with lots of colour, fun and excitement. As part of our Ramadan Learning Program, our Tiny Pillars students were treated to a Special Iftaar Day at the centre. A Traditional Iftaar Tent was set up to help create the atmosphere and keep the students entertained....and a few photo opportunities for mum & dad of course :)... The students were taught the meaning of Ramadan, the reason why Muslims fast and how to break the fast the Sunnah way. They were also taught about the importance of Salaah, Duaah, giving Zakaat and of course about the spirit of gatherings between family and friends. They came dressed in their Islamic Attire and looked absolutely adorable Masha Allah! Real Little Muslims and Little Muslimahs! May Allah(SWT) bless and protect all our children. Ameen.

15.01.2022 Alhamdulillah after weeks of preparation, the Five Pillars Saturday Madrassah Online Program is up and running. First day back for Term 2 and it's all systems go! Level 0 right through to Senior Madrassah.... Great overall attendance by many students just proves that Islamic Education never stops, especially during Ramadan, where the reward for seeking knowledge is even greater. Masha Allah both A'ishah Level 5 and Zakariyah Level 0 doing a fantastic job interacting LIVE with their class teacher from the comfort of their home. Remote Learning does not mean Islamic Knowledge stops being taught.

Always a huge hit with the students, this interactive and exciting presentation allows the students to have a lot of fun handling, patting and feeding a variety of creatures from reptiles to spiders and stick insects. It is not only educational but also delightfully enjoyable.... Of course.....the BIG snake is always the star of the show!

Tabarak Allah what a fantastic day it was, full of learning, interacting, understanding, dressing up, receiving Eid gifts and of course, having lots of fun along the way. The fifth pillar of Islam, the glorious performance of Hajj is an act all Muslims aspire to achieve. ... Teaching it to children at an early age, we hope and ask Allah (SWT) that these children grow to love and understand Islam and one day actually visit the holy place of Makkah and become real life pilgrims making tawaf around the Kabah and standing on Mount Arafat. Today they are pretend 'Hajjis' and In Sha Allah not too far into the future, they will become real life Hujjaj. Jazakum Allah Khair to all the staff and teachers for a brilliant effort making this Hajj Workshop come alive. 08.01.2022 Today's Tiny Pillars Pre-School Islamic Studies lesson... learning about Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who was also known as Khalilullah or the dear friend of Allah (SWT). Prophet Ibrahim was one of the five greatest Messengers and one whom Allah praises as a community (16: 120) because of his consideration for all people. His famous Dua in the Qur'an: ... "Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established." (14:41)

Applications and registrations can NOW be made for our Tiny Pillars Pre-Kindy Educational Program. The Tiny Pillars Program is a well established, highly successful and professional educational program for pre-schoolers, with a set and exclusive curriculum covering all the key points of learning.... Now operating into it's tenth year, Tiny Pillars aims to provide quality education, structure and an understanding of schooling within a wholesome Islamic environment in preparation for Kindergarten. Eligible students need to be, as a minimum three and a half years old. The Tiny Pillars Program operates three days a week with an optional fourth day. Positions are strictly limited as class sizes are structured and set to a minimum to maintain quality and attention to detail. Classes do fill very quickly, so do not delay if you are interested. 04.01.2022 Back to school on Monday and look what is happening at Five Pillars! Lots of learning, lots of activities and of course, lots of fun! Our Annual Hajj Workshop for 2020 commemorating Hajj Week, Hijri 1441. The students dress up like 'Hajjis' learn all about the rituals of Hajj, the great 5th Pillar of Islam. Fantastic interactive and decorative workstations are set up all around the centre making it very exciting for the students, In Sha Allah.... Starts in Week 2.
03.01.2022 Allah (SWT) created 4 seasons in a year and now we are in Autumn! And what happens in Autumn?.....the leaves fall off the trees. Some of our Tiny Pillars Pre-Kindy students learning about seasons and spending some time rustling through a mix of Autumn leaves. ... Great colouring in Masha Allah!

02.01.2022 Jazakum Allah Khair to the Community of Five Pillars Education Centre for your ongoing donations to help establish Water Wells in the poorer regions of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Alhamdulillah, over the last couple of years, we have been able to establish approximately SEVEN Water Wells which we hope will serve the local people by providing them with clean and continuous water. May Allah (SWT) accept this charity as Sadaqa Jaariyah.... A big thank you to Human Appeal who also helped make this happen.
