21.01.2022 What a lovely review after a long weekend stay! Here’s what Ash wrote: WOW! You will be impressed the moment you walking in 538 and you this will not waver your entire stay. A welcome hamper and food for our first breakfast were a nice surprise and made for a hassle free start to our weekend. As did the bottomless coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. The beds were comfortable with an array of pillows and blankets to suit all needs. The bedrooms were comfortable and light, and th...ough there was some street noise in the front bedrooms, this was sporadic and did not keep anyone awake. In addition, the rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the hosts have acted on suggestions from previous guests to improve in this area. There is enough room for entertaining guests and all the pots/pans/plates to go around (although the dishwasher was an added bonus - no one likes doing dishes on holidays). Spacious bathrooms with all the amenities you need to get by. Soft fluffy towels and decent water pressure. A cupboard full of DVDs, boardgames and puzzles would be great on a rainy day, as are the books available to read (along with some reading glasses if you forgot yours). For the more tech-inclined, a spare iphone charger was always available, and we know those never go astray. I could go on all day, as 538 was a home away from home, and a delightful retreat for the long weekend . We will be back again! See more
