20.01.2022 It’s been a long time between posts... Just finished and signed off our latest 8 week project down the Gold Coast via Engineering late this afternoon. This job in particular was very testing due to latent conditions.... The Main aim - to stop water ingress into the carpark of a 32 Story unit complex on Main Beach. After demolishing the existing 40 cubic meters of garden beds we proceeded to install waterproof seals, membranes, Render+paint and 120 square meters of synthetic turf. 15.01.2022 The Commercial Client on this job has had ongoing issues with water ingress from this wall for the last 10 years. The structure is not core filled as it is quite an old building. After Engineering guidance was approved we have been engaged to rectify the issue.... A full Class H grind is well underway with approximately 4.5 k of re-pointing to be carried out. 09.01.2022 Concrete Injection works at Coles Pimpama. There are many reasons for Cracks appearing in new Concrete. Most concrete men will say where theres concrete theres cracking! ... In truth there is always a reason. Cause Of the issue here was deemed to be a dry mix in the early stages of a very large pour. The Foreman informed us it was a hot morning and was left too long prior to finishing. We confirmed his suspicions on the finish and the lack of a suitable brush finish in this area. The rest of their work was perfect! We sealed and injected a low viscosity Epoxy Resin in the area of concern in under 8 hrs. Minimal disruption to the Tenant and a happy Client.
