20.01.2022 Construction of the Grenville St Crossing upgrade continued this morning. They commenced the excavation works on the eastern side of the crossing.

18.01.2022 News Update: Government employees visited the Grenville Street Crossing yesterday (30 July 2020). They explained that they were undertaking a site inspection, in preparation for the works to install the pedestrian gates to commence before the end of August, so the Crossing can then be reopened.

18.01.2022 Amazing news, the Government has advised that work on the Grenville St Crossing upgrade will commence on Monday 7 September 2020.

13.01.2022 Good News - Bayside Council at its August meeting decided to install ‘No Stopping’ restrictions between 4pm - 6:30pm on weekdays, along the eastern side of Beach Road between Orlando Street and Linacre Road in Hampton. This is a great result for the communities long running campaign. Mayor Martin elegantly summarized the outcome when he said, this will make Bayside better.
