24.01.2022 Alot of people has been asking us whether we could repair glass only for their phones. The answer is Yes, but the answer is no. There are many youtube videos where amateur technicians will attempt to replace the broken glass by removing this special type of glue and replace it with a bit of double sided tape. This glue certainly has its reason for being there. However these glass only repairs does not replace this glue and the results are very poor quality repairs. The touch ...sensor may not work in certain areas, dust and water condensation may build up under the glass, glass would be more fragile to breaking and the glass will more likely to fall off the frame over time. To ensure a quality repair at FixPod we only use genuine OEM front screen assembly for all our repairs to ensure the best quality service. To keep our pricing & repair time more competitive and fair, customers with working LCD and broken glass will be offered a much better pricing but at the same time will receive a brand new genuine front screen assembly.
