12.01.2022 We do not recommend feeding EMS/IR horses rice bran/rice bran oil. In this study, rice bran oil reduced insulin sensitivity (increased insulin resistance) in "n...ormal" horses. To learn more about appropriate diet for EMS/IR equines, go to: https://bit.ly/2HV5Gqs For more details on this study, see Frank N, Andrews FM, Elliott SB, Lew J, Boston RC. 12.01.2022 A Grass-Affected Horse is an Accident waiting to happen! Grass Affected horses can react often violently to things that normally wouldnt bother them (birds... flying out of bushes, shadows, even grass bent the wrong way!) A normal shy is rideable by most people however the lightning fast, out of the blue type of explosive spook is one that few can stay on board and are downright dangerous resulting in more A&E statistics. They are also a danger to themselves, running into fences, being aggressive towards you or other horses, or exhibiting separation anxiety. They are more claustrophobic than normal: pulling back, flying out of the float and/or rushing through gate-ways. When people have explained an accident scenario it becomes evident they missed warning signs, or they were aware of them but under-estimated the consequences. Dont let this happen to you! Some of the signs you need to take note of BEFORE you get on are * Twitchiness when you touch his chest area or their flanks/sides * Not wanting to be brushed * Fidgeting whilst being saddled * Not standing still to be mounted * Shaking their head * Head up staring away into space not listening to you (They turn into a statue) * Shying away when bridling * Separation anxiety Some horses do far worse things yet their owners still get on a ride them BIG mistake. One example: A man was getting his horse ready for a ride. He had him tied up in the yard but when he went to put the bridle on, the horse pulled back violently, broke away and ran into the opposite rails. He was taken aback but managed to get the bridle on and mounted. A few steps down the driveway the horse EXPLODED, fired him off and he was a long time recovering from serious injuries. If a horse isnt behaving normally it is a no-brainer dont ride them, or confine them in any way. Dont tie them up or travel them and be extra careful when going through narrow spaces. A lot of people still eschew ground work because they cannot see the point but this is the point once you know how to read them you can see that how the horse operates on the ground gives you a pretty accurate picture of how they will ride. And most importantly heed your Gut feelings if you dont feel comfortable about getting on, then dont! It is that simple! PIC: Horses that dont back up freely are the ones that are likely to go over backwards. This palomino was very stuck and initially had difficulty with what should be a simple task.

11.01.2022 Baking Soda- True Enemy of the Pharmaceutical Industry

11.01.2022 Most doctors wont tell you about peroxide. Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctors office? NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurs...es who work in the doctors offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better! Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40s? Its chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our troops. Peroxide was invented during WWI.. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think about this: 1. Take one capful of hydrogen peroxide (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I am doing it when I bathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. 2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs. 3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters. 4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria. 5. If you have fungus on your feet spray a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry. 6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to 10 minutes several times a day. Her husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide. 7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will. 8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold or plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue. 9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for 10 minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly. 10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually, so its not a drastic change. 11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections. 12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary. 13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love it so much for this. 14. Another place its great is in the bathroom, if someone has been careless, has peed on the floor around the toilet, and its begun to smell of urine. Just put some peroxide in a spray bottle spray. In the blink of an eye all the smell will be gone and the bacteria eliminated! (I wish Id known this years ago) I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, Im glad theres a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner! This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something from it, too. Pass it on! Clorox v/s peroxide VERY interesting and inexpensive.

"How can something so simple be so difficult?" "I dont want fear in my horse, but I do want the highest degree of respect." "Its fix and wait, again." "The horse doesnt understand if theres no meaning or purpose." "Direct the life in the horse" "You have to keep the preparation to the position." "Dont try to get it to happen.
