06.01.2022 A successful last week for the office of FJR Lawyers! With 3 clients very pleased with their WIN WIN WIN results! Client 1: We were successful in a dispute against our clients insurance company for the amount of $58,000. The insurance company in this matter attempted to find loop holes in the policy in an attempt to refuse our client his entitled payout. After months of hard work and applying the relevant laws, our client has now been paid out the entire $58,000 plus intere...st! Client 2: We were successful in a claim against a reputable hair loss treatment company. Our client in this matter spent in excess of $5,000 on treatment that left him with negative side effects and 0 improved results. The company refused to refund our client. After weeks of effort and applying the relevant Consumer laws, our client has now been refunded the entire amount. Client 3: Neighbour dispute- Our client initiated a Magistrates Claim against his neighbour for trespass and unlawfully chopping his trees. The neighbour was of the wrongful belief that he was within his rights. Our client initiated a damages claim for the amount of $7,700. We successfully settled this matter outside of court and our client has now been paid $5,000 by way of damages. WIN WIN WIN

03.01.2022 An amazing succesful result and a very happy client in VCAT this week. Our client was an engineer respondent to a $250,000 building dispute claim by the Applicant. The matter was settled with our office successfully demonstrating to the tribunal that our clients liability was less than 10%. Given the facts of the case, the Applicant was claiming 25% liability of all respondents. Matter was settled with the following breakdown:- ... Builder- $45,000 Soli expert- $70,000 Building surveyor- $27,500 Engineer (our client)- $15,000 Given our clients risk of exposure and liability, the proportion of accountability we were able to prove being less than 10% is an outstanding result.
