25.01.2022 Back to the leaf. Im often asked where the name "Flag & Spear" came from. Focusing on the bud in the center and the first leaf to the right - ancient Chinese poets likened this image to a flag on a spearpoint.
25.01.2022 Flag & Spear and the world of tea brewing competitions in the current issue of @beanscenemag.
23.01.2022 More books to add to the tea library.

19.01.2022 Last week I had the honor and privilege of representing Australia in Tea Masters Cup International and meeting tea lovers from all over the globe. These lush green hills represent the leaf and the passion that pulled us all together. My heart is full. A big thank you to Australian Tea Masters for sponsoring the Australia team to China and making this experience a possibility. Much love.

16.01.2022 Sneak peek at a little experiment weve been working on: What happens when you throw award-winning Taiwanese Jinxuan Oolong into an ex-whisky barrel? += Super stoked at the results. Well be brewing up a sample for guests at next months whisky & tea flight nights at Starward Distillery. Cant wait!
16.01.2022 So I know weve been quiet recently with no classes or events on the radar. Weve been working on a few things behind the scenes and will be back over summer with a few fun workshops. With regards to imbue., we have one more brewing with @intheartofentertaining, but it wont be until next year. Sorry and thanks for waiting! #imbue17
15.01.2022 Excited about this cute little ball of dark tea stuffed into a dried orange. Its made by Chang Sheng Chuan - a tea company that was founded in 1368 (Yes, 650 years ago ) and is still owned by the same family, 20 generations later! #notaferrerorocher
15.01.2022 Current favourite solo teapot. Its actually a leftie, whilst the serving jug is a rightie - good training for ambidextrous tea brewing? Gorgeous teawares by Victorian ceramicist Minna Graham.
