23.01.2022 COVID UPDATE WE ARE CLOSED FROM THURSDAY 19/11/20 UNTIL 8AM WEDNESDAY 25/11/20 No doubt everyone is aware of the lockdowns introduced as of midnight last night. ... As directed by the Australian Dental Association (SA branch) dentistry is now restricted to Level 5, which means that no routine dental treatment can be provided at all. Unfortunately this means we have no other choice but to close for the first initial 6 days of the lockdown, then hopefully reopen next week, but possibly still under restricted levels. In the case of emergency please call the ADA (SA) Branch on 8272 8111. You will then be triaged and directed accordingly. Otherwise please call us on 8270 2869 and leave a message on our machine. We can then call you back upon our return. Thank you all very much for your understanding, we hope to get through this quickly and safely. For further information go to https://www.adasa.asn.au/

21.01.2022 THIS Our team are on the ball and wiping frequently touched surfaces constantly throughout the day. Other strategies implemented are those we already know with a few tweaks:... hand gel upon ENTRY to the practice social distancing in the waiting room (if it’s full please feel free to wait in the car and call us to let us know you’ve arrived for your appointment) minimal numbers in treatment rooms pre-treatment mouthrinses hand gel upon EXIT from the treatment rooms maintaining our excellent infection control procedures Let’s keep up the good work!!

21.01.2022 COVID UPDATE Please be assured we are following all the necessary guidelines and protocols with regards to dental treatment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these times. Safety of our staff, patients, families and the community is vital. ... Currently it is business as normal at Level 1 Dental Restrictions as per the ADA guidelines. If this changes we will let everybody know as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our Facebook page, website and email notifications in the case that restrictions change here in SA. Stay safe everyone, and please follow all the recommendations from SA Health.

20.01.2022 COVID UPDATE - MASKS As of Tuesday December 1st 2020, everyone attending or working in a health care facility is required to wear a mask (EDIT: cloth or disposable masks are approved). This includes dental practices. This means anyone attending the practice will need to enter wearing a mask (except children under 12 & those with particular circumstances listed in the below link). Patient masks can only be removed when in the treatment rooms, and then put back on after dental... treatment. All attendees will also be required to either register using the Covid Safe Check In QR code when entering the practice (scanned with smartphones), or if this isn’t possible, physically register with our receptionists. We kindly ask that minimal numbers attend for appointments, and if the waiting room is full, let us know you’ve arrived, then please wait outside or in your car until called in for your appointment. More information is available at the SA Health website, or read below. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. Let’s do what we need to for everyone’s safety during this challenging year.

18.01.2022 COVID UPDATE - END OF LOCKDOWN Great news - SA has ended its lockdown which means we are back to business as usual! WE WILL BE RE-OPENING AT ... 8AM MONDAY 23RD NOVEMBER The Australian Dental Association (SA) has advised the dental industry can go back to Level 1, which means all routine dentistry can be provided as per before the lockdown. Full screening measures will still be in place as well as all our excellent infection control procedures. The waiting room has a capacity limit, and hand sanitiser is provided before entry to the surgery and upon leaving the treatment rooms. Pre-treatment mouthrinse is provided and the number of people in treatment rooms is also limited. Our wonderful reception staff will be calling all patients who had to have their appointments cancelled and rebooking them. Thank you for your understanding and please continue to stay safe during these times.

12.01.2022 Help us to make Christmas enjoyable for everyone!! 2020 has been a tough year for many, and we will again be participating in the Anglicare Christmas Appeal. To help out, we welcome any donations of new toys or non perishable food items, eg tinned food, biscuits, chocolate, jelly, Christmas puddings etc.... These items can be dropped off at the surgery until 15th December 2020, where they will then be collected by the local Anglicare branch. Christmas should be enjoyed by everyone, not just those who can afford it. Imagine the joy and excitement you could bring to someone at Christmas this year. We thank all of our wonderful, generous patients for bringing smiles to the faces of some of the families and individuals who often miss out. Your help is sincerely appreciated.

05.01.2022 Given the recent spike in Covid cases here in Adelaide, we all need to be careful & vigilant. Everyone needs to follow the recommended guidelines at home, work and in the community. This means:... social distancing, a minimum of 1.5m apart from other people following excellent hand hygiene procedures getting tested even if you have mild symptoms If you are feeling unwell, even if mild, please reschedule your dental appointment until you are better or have been given a negative Covid test result. With everyone doing the right thing, hopefully this is under control quickly.
