24.01.2022 Update: thanks to the funds from our generous councillor Natalie Willcocks, Dennis the Fridge guy’s awesomely discounted prices and Tom, who so graciously lent us his trailer, we now have a freezer and fridges for the Flagstone Foodbank.
22.01.2022 Today (Friday. March 26) is the last day that the FLAGSTONE FOODBANK will be operating from the Flagstone Community Centre. Our plan is that once our new venue at Flagstone Central is finalised, we will be up and running again (hopefully really soon) - with an extra bonus...an OP SHOP!! 20.01.2022 And we have a wall . Our builder and his son have graciously donated their time, and the company - 'BetaBoard' have so generously donated the building materials, so the Flagstone Foodbank and Op Shop is beginning to take shape. We are being 'blown-away' daily by the astounding generosity and kindness of people both in the Flagstone Community and beyond. 12.01.2022 Tomorrow, Sunday, the gifted and generous floor finisher will come to the new foodbank centre to finish the floor grinding and possibly begin laying the carpet ...tiles... soo exciting - the shop fitter finished the suspended ceiling on Friday. I have never seen such a high quality ceiling job before - he had 3 lasers going at once - and when he set the ceiling heights on the hangers it was accurate to the mm - just a phenomenally good job - and all because he passionately wants to help - again at no cost to us. Call in and check it out if your local and interested. See more
