21.01.2022 We love some of the new rock friends who have appeared at the cottage over Christmas

21.01.2022 "What a fabulous property. We fell in love with Flame Tree Cottage as soon as we drove through the gates.... Definitely recommend this gorgeous home for couples and young families - as you are secluded and surrounded by wildlife, grazing cows and horses... - we can’t wait to come back!" Jan 2018

19.01.2022 After two days of crazy heat and humidity the suspense is killing me. #thunder #stormontheway #upperlansdowne

19.01.2022 Happy new year! We look forward to welcoming you in 2018

18.01.2022 2018 will be a bit different for Flame Tree Cottage. It will be a year of rest for the cottage and for us. Some renovations are planned and we are heading off on a holiday of our own. The bad news is that this means the cottage will be closed from the 3rd April and won't reopen for guests until early September (actual date TBC).

16.01.2022 This was such a fun night.

16.01.2022 On the tenth day of Christmas, not too far from Flame Tree... ten parishioners planning (yes, there are undoubtedly more than ten but after nine days of this I am scrambling for ideas), nine million cicadas, eight cows looking,... seven riders riding, six wallabies grazing, five happy sheep, four wonky letterboxes, three wooden bridges, two beautiful dams, and a phone box alone on the street. 10.01.2022 On the eleventh day of Christmas, not too far from Flame Tree... eleven flowers blooming, ten parishioners planning, nine million cicadas,... eight cows looking, seven riders riding, six wallabies grazing, five happy sheep, four wonky letterboxes, three wooden bridges, two beautiful dams, and a phone box alone on the street. 04.01.2022 "What a hidden gem! The Flame Tree Cottage was everything and more we were wanting for our Christmas escape. Our girls were in there element, loving meeting the locals and animal life. Daily adventures amongst the picturesque landscape of Upper Lansdowne. Such a magical area. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get back to old school ways of outdoor fun, face to face communication (limited phone service), long daydreaming walks, dancing around the lounge room with the old record player singing and plenty of nature at its finest! Jen and her family are perfect hosts! We are definitely retreating back to the Flame Tree Cottage!" - Dec/Jan 2018

03.01.2022 On the twelfth day of Christmas, not too far from Flame Tree... twelve baby wood ducks, eleven flowers blooming, ten parishioners planning,... nine million cicadas, eight cows looking, seven riders riding, six wallabies grazing, five happy sheep, four wonky letterboxes, three wooden bridges, two beautiful dams, and a phone box alone on the street. 03.01.2022 Hello! We are back and ready for guests. The cottage has had a few changes - the third bedroom has been extended, a covered car port has been added, and the back deck has been extended. It is all very new and there is still some gardening to be done but it really looks great. New pics are on the way. For now, head over to our Air bnb page to book. https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/6452804
