18.01.2022 This last year has been extremely difficult for our Cakery. But as of the 4th December we are pleased to announce we will have our Weekly Whole cakes available!!! They will be one size only- 7 and each week we will have Vanilla, Chocolate & Rainbow cakes available! All we need is a minimum 24 hour notice for next day (afternoon) pick up ... We have a tendency of booking out fast so our weekly whole cakes are focused on customers who just need a quick simple cake. Orders can be discussed through Facebook messenger or by calling us on 0424226918

06.01.2022 FLAME TREES CAFÉ AND CAKERY We are a mother and daughter duo who have a love for both coffee and cake. Before opening Flame Trees Cafe and Cakery, Amy spent... five years working around the Clarence Valley in cafes with the dream of owning her own business. Jo had spent the past 10 years running her own successful business called Jo's Cakery. In 2017 we both decided to take on what felt like a rare opportunity by purchasing Prince Street Coffee House. Our goal was to create the perfect atmosphere where customers of any age group can feel welcome while enjoying a home style cooked meal and a delicious, smooth coffee. Our Segafredo Extra Strong blend coffee is a full-bodied coffee with a smooth taste and added notes of chocolate. Every sweet treat in our cafe is home made by Jo Hall, nothing is purchased from a wholesale company. We also provide pre-booked celebratory cakes (for birthdays, weddings etc.) and will soon have frozen cakes available for customers who hate baking but love to decorate at home! We provide home-style cooked meals which we feel offers something a little unique to Grafton. We offer a catering service and take event bookings for groups over 10, outside of our usual trading hours. Jacaranda is such a special time of year. Honestly, who doesn't smile when driving through a street filled with beautiful purple trees? It's a time when our community works together and supports one another by creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all locals and travellers. Yes, the festival had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 but that doesn't mean the locals can't continue basic traditions by getting a little purple crazy and having a damn good time while doing it! We definitely enjoyed getting creative and hope our customers have enjoyed our Jacaranda treats so far. When COVID first hit, it was extremely difficult. We were very fortunate to be able to continue serving during the first few months of restrictions, but it was tough when we were forced to only offer take away, because 80% of our business was in-house. Jo and I worked extremely hard and we decided to extend our trading days from six to seven. That meant working seven days a week. We got creative and made Easter D.I.Y Cookie packs which were a HIT! We teamed up with Sundown bakery and offered family-sized pies. Finally after nine weeks of working seven days, we were able to afford the wages to give ourselves a well-deserved break! I LOVE how the Clarence Valley has a little bit of everything! If you love the beach it's only a 45-minute drive, if you love the river it is literally surrounding us. If you love being in the city, the Gold Coast is only a few hours’ drive!
