25.01.2022 FGH is meeting lots of new people over last week and this week. Today she’s had a change over of guests. Weekend couple out and a new group in today. The new visitors need a really nice place to just stop and relax. They’ve had a very trying month or more. Can you relate? I think FGH is an excellent choice for a place to unwind and feel human. ... I always offer guests to make special requests or check if there’s anything they need that we don’t already have at the house. I love it when they’re not shy about their response. The coffee corner is absolutely stocked with pods for the machine in three different flavours and I have even included coffee sugar in one of the containers now, because that’s her preference. The custom FGH mugs were a gift from regular guests of ours. So I have one in place. Ready for the first cup. It really is a pleasure setting up the place to be the calm before or after the storm for people. Such a great little house!

24.01.2022 Take a moment to appreciate a sharp hedge and a fresh trimmed rose garden, ready to take off in Spring! FGH has been hosting again through June and July doesn’t look like slowing up either. So many travellers, glad for an escape and giving rave reviews of our little cottage in the Switch!

22.01.2022 The house has been busy hosting. Things were almost back to normal and we are seeing a slight pause for now. A common comment we are receiving from our Airbnb guests is that the photos of the house do not do it justice. That it is much nicer in person. 16.01.2022 Whilst there’s a lot of focus on what we aren’t supposed be doing in the current climate, we can focus on what we ARE able to do too. Ipswich is an area blessed with some great weather year round. We have excellent major facilities for all sorts of sporting pursuits. Using FGH as a base camp to keep your group safe, you can take part in, or spectate at so many local events. ... 14.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder....you haven’t booked your weekend at FGH yet. But when you do, the kitchen is fab, but these places might cook better than you can

13.01.2022 The cleaning regime at FGH has become even more hardcore with personal health being such a very high priority. Guests are now supplied with hand and room sanitiser and wipes. Bookings are spaced apart by minimum 24 hrs, but generally three days and guests can rest assured, like always, we are taking care of it all!

13.01.2022 For the outdoorsy types, or just anyone making the most of the glorious weather we have in Ipswich. There are many great hikes locally. Then you can run a bath, hop in and eat an ice block while you recover your weary muscles. *ah bliss*

11.01.2022 FGH is hosting this weekend. The Ipswich sunshine is awesome. We are loving all the fellow Qlder’s from just up the road coming for a getaway, a change of scenery and some exploring the scenic rim. Hosted a few this month, and their pets. She’s crisp and sanitised inside and the back yard scrubbed up nicely again. By all accounts the air base might be a bit rowdy this weekend owing to drills etc. but that’s actually pretty entertaining from FGH.

08.01.2022 Here’s your assurance of a great stay at one of our houses. Being awarded Superhost and keeping it is a combination of great service to the actual guests and potential ones and keeping the property at an excellent level of presentation. Presentation and cleanliness theses days being all that much more work with sanitising all high touch areas, not just cleaning. It’s a hat that gets a lot of wear. But being a host is rewarding. Our return guests feel like great mates coming to stay and the longer term guests feel like family . We’d love to welcome you to the family too.
