21.01.2022 It’s been just over a year since I last traded at Queen Vic Market and due to Covid and the accompanying long lockdowns of 2020, I was forced to move my business online. I worked on my website for two months and then started an ongoing Google Ads campaign and also hired a marketing company to jazz up those Ads and as a result it has become a successful business working from my garage and posting my products Australia wide. Due to lack of tourism and high overheads, my busi...ness has become unviable at Queen Vic so I have recently given up my 2 full time leases and gone back on the casual list and will periodically trade when full tourism returns to Australia The best part of working from home is getting the weekends back to spend time with my kids instead of dragging them to the market and finally get to watch my boy play soccer every Sunday instead of missing games because I have to be at the market. I look forward to this new chapter in my life and not being a slave to the market. Thank you Covid, you did my business a solid.
