25.01.2022 The Footloose 80 framing a beautiful Whitsundays sunset.

18.01.2022 Just a reminder with Xmas around the corner that we are well stocked with all sails across the range, with a new batch coming in this week. We’ve also added a couple of component sets if you’re after an extra set up on a second kayak. Check out our range on-line or visit your local dealer to see the sails and kits up close. https://flatearthkayaksails.com.au/collections/all

18.01.2022 A nice shot of both Flat Earth Sail designs side by side, the new Footloose 80 (left) and the tried & tested Trade Wind 80 (right).

16.01.2022 Two years ago today we lost the one & only Mick MacRobb. The breeze continues to fill Mick's sails and carry paddlers on their adventures all around the world. If you're out today with the wind in your sail, spare a thought for Lyn & Mick's family as they remember a true gentleman, taken from us too soon. Go well Mick, we'll raise a glass in your memory today.

14.01.2022 How good is this footage from Chris Porter at World Paddle...?!

12.01.2022 Sunset behind Saddleback Island on a North Queensland expedition, whistling along on the trade winds with the Footloose 80 tight and cranking it!

11.01.2022 A nice display at Expedition Kayaks in Sydney, showing off the 0.7m Trade Wind Sail. Flat Earth have plenty of stock in all models, and its sailing season folks! Not sure how you'd sail this table though....!

10.01.2022 DIY Video - Flat Earth Kayak Sails - A Practical Guide Whilst not quite in the same league as Mick MacRobb's legendary 'how to' video series, here's Rob & Mark attempting to de-mystify the installation of one of our sails. Grab a cuppa and relax, this might even prove to be an ideal COVID DIY project! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGEFF0jOOe0

09.01.2022 Oh dear, we’ve just been made aware of yet another copy of the Flat Earth Trade Wind 80 Sail, this time by a kayak company in Sweden. They’ve even used a photo of a Trade Wind 80 in their promotions..... This happened to poor Mick here in Australia a few years ago and was met with unanimous condemnation by the kayaking community, something he was incredibly grateful for at the time. If you see this blatant rip off in Europe, understand it for what it is and please be mindful ...that this design took many years to perfect. We continue to improve, test and refine the materials and designs of all Flat Earth Sails and hope good people appreciate our efforts. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery but that’s small consolation in a village as small as the global sea kayaking community. Thanks all!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Amar, winner of the Mick MacRobb award for best photo at this weekend’s Victorian Sea Kayak Club Blue Water Festival.

04.01.2022 Well here's something you don't see every day, and Waldy at Caribbean Water Cycling in Puerto Rico is raving about the performance..! Very cool.... https://youtu.be/dcnwAMSOgi8

04.01.2022 Here’s Sharon, a 51kg paddler in a genuine LV fast touring kayak, coming to the end of a windy 41km crossing using her Trade Wind 0.7m sail. A perfect match to the smaller paddler. https://flatearthkayaksails.com.au//pro/trade-wind-70-sail

03.01.2022 The new Footloose 80, now our most popular sail. Here's a shot from a recent expedition along the famous Nadgee Wilderness on the NSW/Victorian border.
