25.01.2022 Well it’s been a busy couple of weeks at the shed for our boys! Building dog kennels for some pups we are getting soon , welding more winter warming fire pits , digging the new veggie garden & cooking on the plough disc bbq ! The boys have also been learning about farming & got to plant some wheat with the tractor , they found some worms while there so we went out to Gum Flat for a spot of fishing . These boys just love learning new things & giving it a go! Remember, if anybody wants to donate materials or their time it would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in buying a winter warming fire pit send us a message or drop by for a cuppa to chat!

25.01.2022 Last Friday the FlatTrack boys were ask to go out to mungindi to help unload two truck full of groceries for the town.so proud of them to say yes and help their community out they all put in 100% effort Also to pcyc thankyou for helping transport the boys out there So great to give back to the community

24.01.2022 Youth Week at the FlatTrack Shed today We had the privilege of Farmer Dave & his Rufftrack boys plus (of course) the dogs visiting us It is so great to inspire these young people to learn different things outside a classroom, real life skills, mate ship, helping each other along, what can be, a tough road at times. We are so grateful for the support we get from the community, police & Jobs Australia. 24.01.2022 The FlatTrack Boys were back at Cooee Park mowing & picking up rubbish helping the community out again, great job boys! It’s so encouraging that you guys want to do this! Our local firies came around this week & showed the boys around the truck & some of the equipment which they got to have a go of ! The firies then came into the shed & helped the boys with finishing off the last of the dog kennels . They are keen to come back a couple times a month to help out in the shed cheers guys ! Big things to come in the near future stay tuned

22.01.2022 This week the boys asked if they could clean up the ‘rage cage’ in town so they could start using it again & away they went, they did a great job! In the shed we’ve been cutting in a new sink for the smoko room with Mark’s help. Bree Pring popped by the shed today with smoko for everyone as a thank you for what we are doing in the community, mmmmm #doingwhatsrightforthemselvesandothers #learningnewskills #proudtobeflattrackboys

20.01.2022 What a day! The boys have really done themselves and the town proud today! Cleaning up Cooee Park mowing, edging & taking rubbish away. FlatTrack was asked if we could do this & the boys delivered, providing a safer place to play. If that wasn’t enough, they decided to start painting the inside of the smoko room & fixed up the Salvo’s lawn mower ! A HUGE THANKYOU to all the boys, PCYC’s Jason, Mel & Rossy & last but definitely not least Rob for teaching the boys about small engines!

17.01.2022 The boys rounded out the week by making some wooden candle holders for family members, doing some mechanical work on the ride on mower & generator with Rob, welding two fire pits & helping out Geoff by painting some boards at the new Lifehouse Church . The boys loved showing off their cooking skills on the bbq thanks to Rob from South Moree Butcher. A big thank you to Mark Davies & Robert Mclane who are volunteering their time to help the boys achieve so much!

16.01.2022 Been a busy week this week at FlatTrack shed Visit out to Pringy’s Farm Balnagask boys learning to feed and look after animals driving the gator about thanks Col Pring boys had a ball Town fire brigade came to the shed boys learning about how to install fire alarms and help the firies put cleaning out and painting some our road stand pipes Push up challenge and all Bit of a refurbish on jjs trailer ... 15.01.2022 It was a pleasure having Flat Track group in for some practical demonstrations and a skills workshop recently, and we were all inspired to see so much potential... in this terrific group of youngsters. FlatTrack is an activity based learning program that helps teach at risk youths who have dropped out of high school skills that will lead to employment. Moree Tyrepower prides itself on helping youth gain the skills needed for meaningful employment, and we’re very proud to be supporting this initiative. 14.01.2022 Great to see Mark Coulton come visit the shed last week. The boys were given a couple of whipper snippers & lawn mowers to get going & once fixed they decided they should test them out on their lawns at home. Putting in the new sink for the smoko room. Great job guys all round, big things to come in the near future!

07.01.2022 Been busy at the farm this last week getting the boys out and helping with planting the crops checking over the sowing rig boys had a blast Decklin helping out a local butcher rob moore from south side butchers today decklin step up learning some new skills So proud of these boys every day they step up and nothing is a challenge to them Keep up the good work

02.01.2022 A busy couple of weeks starting with our official FlatTrack open day where the boys got to show off their projects including coffee tables, kennels & candle holders! Very happy grandmas! Overhaul Juvenile Justices’ trailer by sanding, respraying & installing new lights! A visit from Tc Priestley, Uncle Pete & Uncle Cecil checking out the shed & mentoring the boys Helping out PCYC by mowing their grounds. Making another 3 dog kennels for some local lady’s....
