Everyone at ARC currently uses Flaunter on a daily basis, multiple times a day even. At first we looked at it purely for managing our samples in the Showroom, but its really grown to be used almost 50/50 for image placements now which has really helped us grow that side of our clients results. Adding our restaurant and hotel clients was a natural thing to do. . We used another system for a really long time, but it was fairly complicated and didnt cater for the image placement side of things, which was really increasing with the decline in the number of print titles. The demand from media to visit showrooms had dropped dramatically and the cost associated had become unprofitable. I wanted to be more nimble and to be able to work remotely as well as in an office. AWPR now operates quite differently to a regular fashion agency i...n that we no longer offer a physical showroom of our clients samples. Each brand manages its samples at their own offices, and we work collaboratively in order to facilitate loans for shoots, dressing and everything in between. And while pitching WELL has never been more important, media relations and pitching in the digital age can feel conflicted. The abundance of blogs, email, and social media has made it easier to be seen, but all this content has also made it more difficult to be noticed. Dont confuse the pitch with a media release. Two very different things. The pitch is a sho...rt and sweet email to a journalist or influencer.
