23.01.2022 A quick lunch at Flavours of Jiangnan in Dickson while doing some final preparation for Eat Canberra Food Tours Taste of Asia Food Tour on Sunday. It only opene...d a few weeks ago and is located just the around the corner from Sharetea on Cape St. The family-run restaurant focuses on Eastern Chinese food and they have a good selection of fresh handmade noodles, dumplings and wontons. They also have some bigger dishes. I tried the pan-fried lamb dumplings and a piece of their steamed sticky rice cake. The dumplings were so tasty and you can tell they're fresh and handmade. The sticky rice cake has an interesting texture and is made with red beans and carrot. Plates of 12 dumplings are $12 or $13.80 depending on what you choose. 03.01.2022 We are a family owned restaurant, which specialises in Jiangnan Flavour Cuisine. Jiangnan is at the eastern part of China and it includes Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai area. We focus on refresh ingredients, flavours and textures of each dish that we cook. The restaurant provides comfortable dining atmosphere and friendly customer service. We make dumplings, wonton, noodle and spring rolls etc in house. Happy Dinning Everyone!
