24.01.2022 Funny but true, insurance companies have gone to the extent of working out how much paint you should use to paint that panel and thats all they want to pay. Unfortunately its not a perfect world and robots dont do the painting in a panel shop. If there is a scratch or a fly lands in your base colour well to bad. Thats not covered. Insure with a good insurance company that are there for you not their pockets. We recommend Metrix insurance 9397-8000 call Sam and mention Flawless Gloss. 20.01.2022 Suncorps at it again. Let me tell you a little about GIO. One of our clients came to us to repair their Mazda 3. GIO called and said the claim is all in order and will be assessed from our photos as it looks like a straight forward claim. So, we said to the girl, no worries, Ill get a move on and not hold the client up, they have a new born and need their car back ASAP. We repaired the vehicle, 4 weeks later the car is still not assessed and authorised. We called Suncorp an...d got the run around. Excuses from we are busy with claims to will be assessed by Friday. Now some assessor by the name of Frank is refusing to assess and authorise the job. Hes trying to get the client to pay us direct and cash settle the client. When the client asked how much he will get, he got a reply as much as we think its worth. I urge everyone to change from Suncorp as this company is not transparent. They will happily take your money but if you choose your own repairer, they will do everything they can to make the claim difficult. If you get your car repaired by their Capital Smart, in most cases its a disaster. The only Win/Win is on their board game. See more

19.01.2022 AAMI keeps telling customers how they are better than everyone else. How they have state of the art repair facilities. How they return vehicles back to pre-accident conditions. They even offer a taxi home from their repair centre. Taxi ain’t going to cut it. They have ruined a brand new Toyota RAV4. Poor repairs is one thing but this car is covered in overspray so badly that it feels like ruining your hand on concrete. Now we have to do our magic and rectify this new car and bring it back to how it was 4 months ago on the showroom floor. Merry Xmas everyone.

12.01.2022 We had a client this morning where budget assessed his car and said it has $900 worth of damage. Because the customer didnt want to use their preferred cost cutting shop and the customer not knowing better, agreed to accept their $900 as a cash settlement. The vehicle needs a new tow bar, rear bar reinforcement that is welded to the body, rear bumper, rear bar sensors, boot lid is damaged and to top it off the gas tank needs to be removed. About $4000 worth of work for $900. Now the poor owner is out of pocket over $3000. Budget got a bargain.

10.01.2022 Little update on the Subaru Levorg. This car is so badly repaired that we are not even trying to re-repair. Its getting a new tail lamp panel and left hand quarter panel. IAG (RACV, CGU etc) should be ashamed supporting this kind of behaviour.

Find a good repairer and hold on to him with everything you got because this may be a difference between driving a safe car and driving a ticking time bomb. Whats more important your life or saving insurnace company money.
