20.01.2022 Home Maintenance Post! Every pawrent of a fluffy pup needs a slicker brush and a metal comb. Just like hoomans, pooches need their hair brushed between salon appointments, especially if you like them fluffy. Use the slicker brush first to break up tangles, then the metal comb to finish. Pay close attention to their face, ears, collar & chest areas, legs, toes, bum and tail. Make sure to brush from the root of the hair, not just the surface. If the hair is already matted then they will need a visit to the groomers for a professional demat or shave down, depending on the severity. Do not try to brush out mats as it can be extremely painful! We recommend pups visit the salon every 6-8 weeks to keep them looking & feeling their best
