13.01.2022 On our way back from Wilpena Pound we decided to stay at a Station and we are so glad we did. Almerta Station was amazing. So peaceful with some great walks, great history and really lovely owners. They have done an incredible job setting up a number of campsites in private locations around their property. Each one secluded with a long drop toilet (think room with a view ). Our campsite was just near the riverbed and we had a campfire each night and the then there's the ...stars....... incredible Also about 20+ Km up the road is the @thecradockhotel Do yourself a favour and call in for a great meal and say Hi to one of the friendliest publicans around.
