23.01.2022 200 Series Landcruiser takes the win . (2 videos of a race start launch in comments - turn up the volume) The 457whp (in safe race tune) GTurbo 200 Series te...st vehicle performed flawlessly in the GTurbo Rod Hatter Memorial Perenjori 360 (same cant be said of driver with a few hiccups ). First in class, 9th outright. No mechanical issues whatsoever. We did some cracking lap times despite the hot and dusty conditions. For those that dont know, this is how we undertake extreme testing of our products. In this case its the GTurbo G450 200 Series kit (which includes direct bolt on turbos, custom injectors and a custom GTurbo remap of engine and gearbox with revised shift speeds, rpm points and torque converter lockup points). The engine and gearbox is totally standard (without any modifications to the valve body). We have proved that with clever reprogramming these gearboxes can reliably handle double the power - flawless gear shifts and torque converter lockup under full power and high heat conditions.
