10.01.2022 Henna is an art form which involves a fascinating natural process of staining and oxidising. The stain gets darker and darker over time, then fades away. The top picture shows the paste on the skin, applied like icing on a cake. ... The bottom photo is the stain that results on the skin, under the paste which flakes off. This photo is taken 8 hours later, and the stain colour will deepen over the next two days.
