13.01.2022 The day we have been waiting for! We are delighted to finally announce the return of patrons to Flemington Racecourse for Living Legends Race Day, Saturday 12th December. The Victorian Government has permitted 500 people to attend on Saturday 12th December, comprising of 440 VRC members, with tickets allocated by ballot, and 60 rotating places for owners. ... In addition, we continue to work closely with the Victorian Government and Racing Victoria to plan for significantly increasing the race day capacity for our upcoming summer race days to 5,000 for our Christmas Race Day on Saturday 19th December and more for our New Year’s Day Race Day, in line with the prevailing public health advice. Approval for the increase to 5,000 patrons on Christmas Race Day will require a change to the Victorian Government guidelines and cannot be guaranteed, however we are prepared for this possibility and remain hopeful. More details the including how to enter the ballot to attend Living Legends Race Day will be emailed to all members on Friday 4th December. We can’t wait to have you back and while we wish we could welcome every member back at once, we do hope this comes as exciting news and something to celebrate.
