25.01.2022 You are going to *want* to scroll to see the before on this one. Probably one of my favourite transformations in a while. Moira has *never* liked her hair and she told me she’s either had it cut really short or worn it tied up super tight her entire life, and she’s in her 60s now. She said she’s never ever seen her hair look like this and only thought it was dry and unmanageable. I’m a goose and only took the before photo once I had cut it. So the shape of when she came in... was much different as it has no layering to it. What we did: Colour by @pure_haircare Cleansed & hydrated: @innersenseorganicbeauty colour radiance. Heaps of conditioner left in. Styled: with Innersense I create lift foam & @clever_curl humid weather gel because nothing stops frizz like that gel. To scrunch out I used a small amount of @ecoslay moonshine just to give the hair an extra layer of protection.

Everescents refills: I only do some refills for the Everescents, due to limited space I can’t stock the whole range for refills for those. BUT always ask what I can do for you, I usually have the more popular ones. Please message me prior to coming in for refills, because it does take a bit longer, and I can also offer you pouches of your refills which saves us both time. Also I will always have stock of both Everescents and Clever Curl. I never let my stock levels run out. You can trust I have what you need Happy Monday and enjoy this weather!!! I sure am !

22.01.2022 Thanks Gemma!!! Dem ringlets are poppin’ I’m going to do a separate post on porosity but Gemma’s hair was extremely hydrophobic meaning it struggled to hold any water, it just repelled it. Her hair was low porosity meaning the cuticle on her hair was so tightly closed that water/conditioner and proper hydration are hard to achieve. So lately I have become obsessed with learning about oils and the uses for hair but especially on low porosity hair. (Stay tuned for more exciti...ng stuff on oils!) Anyway I applied an oil which was a mix of olive, lavender and castor oil to her hair before cleansing and applied heat to help it penetrate. I was then apply to rinse, cleanse and hydrate! I’m Fleur and I work beside a small group of other hairdressers in our salon, but we are all independent. Meaning we all have our own businesses within one business. So when you turn up for your appointment with me, you will not find my name on the door. I have worked independently like this for quite some time and I love it! I’m a mum with 3 children and one is sti...ll at home with me as she’s only small still and I love the balance my work can afford me. I do not have any assistants, so when you come to your appointment with me you will be lucky enough to have me touching your hair from start to finish. 04.01.2022 I did the LOC method on this beautiful head of curls for young Ebony. LOC stands for Liquid, Oil, Cream. The LOC method is a specific method used on curls in retaining as much moisture in the hair as possible by applying products in a specific order. For the Liquid (L) I kept the hair dripping wet and left some @everescents_organic_haircare berry blonde conditioner in, then for the oil (O) I used @organicsuku Shea oil glazed over the hair.... 02.01.2022 Excited to be able to offer the Neutral Protein Filler to my stock! 4oz (120ml) $19.95 16oz (473ml) $49.95 ... THE most asked question I get is about protein. Well if your hair needs it then this is it. BUT How do I know if my hair needs protein?? First of all it’s actually a bit rarer that your hair needs protein. More commonly it needs moisture. If you hair feels mushy/gummy when wet, or if it snaps easily it may be lacking protein. I find a lot of fine and/or wavy people need to add protein into their hair care regime. Anyway, the filler is diluted with 1:3 ratio of filler to water and then added to your conditioner or styling product. Make sure that your products don’t already contain protein. If you find it difficult to find products that don’t contain protein then this is perfect. I will of course be using this to add to any colour services. Particularly great for anyone who struggles to hold a toner if their hair, or prone to hair fade.
