25.01.2022 At FDC we are SACE dance specialists. Technique classes are held with Emily McEvoy on Monday’s at FDC with discounted prices for students studying in years 7-12. Studio staff are available to assist students who are studying dance in their middle/senior years of schooling with a range of theoretical research/analysis support, student composition, technique and support with their performance works. As trained professionals we have many resources to assist your children in enhancing their dance journey. #wowmissemily #sacedancesa #fleurieudancecollective

23.01.2022 It’s FUNKY SOCK week!

23.01.2022 June the 19th #savethedate

23.01.2022 This week has been so lovely. Now that we have the time to unwind and relax from our production, our focus has been on creative thinking and composition. Last night Georgia and I had the privilege of team teaching and we collaborated with a beautiful bunch of young people. We gave students a range of stimulus to create new movement pathways, a safe space to use their imaginations and improvisation techniques. Young people are so clever and so creative.

22.01.2022 Following on from direction given yesterday, we will be closed for 2 weeks. Let’s look at the positives though! Our beautiful kiddos had the chance to have a live performance recently and we are still planning a Christmas celebration and in class certificates. Stay safe, healthy and happy and we will see you all soon.

22.01.2022 It begins... and our hearts are so full

19.01.2022 We so desperately need this!

15.01.2022 I’m not holding back on this.

14.01.2022 Swans are back. :)

13.01.2022 We are going into Term 3 with nothing but wonderful, fun times ahead of us!

13.01.2022 I have absolutely no issues venting how disappointed I am that studios are continuing to train in SA under the ‘boot camp’ banner. The last time we went into lockdown and had restrictions in place we were NOT under this banner. Suddenly many studio owners are trying to claim that we are now ‘training as outdoor fitness’. Please just stop. We have a duty of care to our kids, families and the wider community to do the right thing. It’s 2 weeks of down time and then we will be in a much better place.... for everyone! Money should never be the priority folks.

12.01.2022 Tickets are now available to the public! You can purchase online through Hopgood Theatre.

11.01.2022 A few moments of our recent production 'Fractured'. A wonderful cast with beautiful young dancers. We are so proud of you all!

08.01.2022 Fleurieu Dance Collective registrations have begun for 2021! We are catering for our current families this week with enrolments open to the public as of tomorrow. Classes numbers are capped at the studio to ensure quality teaching, so get in quick. #bringon2021

08.01.2022 Reminder: This Friday it is the Night On The Green at ELC. There will be no classes held, however, this will be a fantastic night!

08.01.2022 Thank you to all of the FDC families who attended our rehearsal on Saturday. We cannot speak highly enough of our students, how beautifully behaved they were and how supportive they are of each other! We are on the final stretch until we showcase our end of year production ‘Fractured’. #grateful

07.01.2022 Congratulations to our beautiful Miss Lexie who did us proud at dance comps last week! 1st place to our gorgeous girl. Lexie is just one of those young people who always works hard, is thoughtful and kind towards others and has a positive attitude every week. We think you’re pretty wonderful all round Lexie. ‘Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.’ - Winston Churchill

05.01.2022 Tonight our beautiful Under 8’s drew images of things that they were thankful for. Miss Georgia then used these gratitude pictures for stimulus to create a lovely ballet routine. #artistryanddance #gratitude

04.01.2022 Baby it’s cold outside! To celebrate the end of Term 2 we will do it in style. You can wear beanies, fluffy socks, dressing gowns, gloves, trackies etc... it’s a dream come true for many of us.

03.01.2022 Our beautiful Miss Georgia has been featured in the Autumn issue of Fleurieu Living Magazine. We are so proud of you, and your work ethic. #supportingsouthcoastdancers #fleurieudancers #fleurieudancecollective Photography by Jason Porter.

01.01.2022 How quickly did that happen? We will see you bright and early at the theatre to begin rehearsals. We cannot wait to see you all tomorrow! #fractured2020
