19.01.2022 IT'S ON!!! It’s our last Safety Week for the 2020 Starting today, until the 15th, swimmers in levels Tadpole to Shark (that’s 3yrs +) will participate in water safety activities and exercises, so make sure you wear some old clothes over your bathers and get ready for some FUN!

16.01.2022 We understand it’s a warm one today but kindly remind patrons that pools are NOT open for public access to recreational swimmers. We are able to offer continuous lap swimming and hydrotherapy. We would love to see you, and we value your business, but we may have to turn visitors away if you are not swimming for fitness or rehabilitation purposes. We can’t wait to see you again once these restrictions have been lifted.

12.01.2022 As mandated by the State Government, the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre is temporarily closed as of 8pm tonight (Monday 16th Nov). At this stage restrictions are in place for a fortnight. We will communicate any further changes as they arise. PLEASE NOTE: All memberships and Swimming Lessons will automatically be placed on suspension during the period of closure and you will not be charged. No action is required by you. No member will be financially disadvantaged due to the closure. There are no confirmed cases of the virus among any of our staff or members.

08.01.2022 With the weather warming up this week we'd like to remind families that the pool is only open for continuous lap swimming under the current state COVID-19 directive. Our program pool remains closed to families and anyone utilising the 25m main pool must be lap swimming only. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and hope to reopen the pools for recreational swimming when it is safe to do so.

02.01.2022 Swimming Lesson Families, members and patrons! We are eagerly awaiting further direction from the SA Government before resuming Swimming Lessons and recreational swimming. While the government has indicated that ‘community sport’ can resume on 1 December, the details that govern how this can be conducted and delivered has not yet been released. ... Once we receive the new Emergency Declaration and can confirm a restart date for these programs we will update Facebook and send out an email. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

01.01.2022 Aligned to recent clarification on the latest Emergency Services Directive, the Centre will open on Monday aligned to standard operating hours. Further details and restrictions are noted below: Memberships will automatically resume as of Monday Swim lessons will not resume on Monday (students will remain on suspension). School/DECD swimming are also not yet allowed. The pool will be open standard hours, but only available for exercise (lane swimming and aqua fitness) ...and hydrotherapy. Bookings are strongly encouraged on the YMCA SA App for lap swimming and aqua. Gym is open (no requirement to 'book a session', just drop-in). Group fitness is open (strongly encouraged to book on YMCA SA App) KidsClub is open Water fountains are closed. Strict adherence to 1 person per 4 sq/m and 1.5m social distancing (group fitness class occupancies reduced). Thank you for your patience as we reopen.
