Seeds of Abundance focuses on the links between personal and financial well-being, combining the education on ...financial literacy that you never learned in school, with self-development strategies to create lasting change. Funded by the Fleurieu Community Foundation, it is designed to improve the personal and financial well-being of residents within the region (not to try to sell you other things!) The third and final round begins Tuesday 27 April, and there are only 10 spaces available. 5 workshops are held @ Open Door: 1 Collingwood Street, Goolwa on Tuesdays from 10am -2.30pm 27 April 25 May, plus 5 x 1 hour mentoring sessions. 15.01.2022 I wonder if you would please consider promoting this Homelessness fundraiser through your networks. Young Ryder is an 11yo Primary School student who is keen to make a difference in his community. The date for this fundraiser is the 22nd of March and it is looking to be a spectacular day with young Ryder getting everyone on board with his fundraising effort Program for the day... 10am meet Ryder at Causeway Café and provide welcome 10am - 12noon - Ride with Ruder on Horse tram Meet Tim & or other on Granite Island for coffee & chat about an experience of Homelessness On Granite Island we will have a scavenger hunt card for anyone interested 12noon - we will all collect back at the Causeway Café for lunch Ryder and others will talk to attendees over lunch Rebekha Sharkie will be in attendance and will be asked to say a word We will have a short break in proceedings to eat lunch 1pm - We will have a short fundraising Auction followed by the Raffle draw 2pm - pack up See more

11.01.2022 The Fleurieu Community Foundation is offering financial assistance for young people to undertake education or training in 2020. Florence Wilckens Award supports senior school students to further their studies in the performing arts, music or dance. It is expected that one award will be offered for an amount of up to $500. Wally Bradley Award - supports young people aged 16 19 years who may be experiencing difficulty in continuing their studies due to ...hardship or disadvantage. It is expected that one or more awards will be offered for an amount of up to $1,000. Disability and Community Inclusion Grant Program People living with a disability support to undertake post-secondary education or training. It is expected that two grants of up to $500 will be available. People working in the disability sector support to further their professional development. It is expected that two grants of up to $500 will be available. Closing date for nominations is Friday 22 November 2019

10.01.2022 Thanks to the Victor Harbor Farmers Market for donating toward the Homelessness Fund managed by the Fleurieu Community Foundation. These funds will be used to support service delivery on the Fleurieu in the areas of emergency and transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness.
