20.01.2022 Happy Tuesday! I have had a few questions about the location of my tutoring/mentoring services, so I thought to share my answers on this platform. I travel most of the Fleurieu Peninsula for face-to-face sessions, which includes Victor Harbour, Normanville, Yankalilla, Myponga, Mclaren Vale, Aldinga, Willunga, Strathalbyn and Sellicks Beach. I additionally offer services across Southern Adelaide (e.g., Noarlunga, Woodcroft, Reynella) through to the city. For online services, I have no limit. For any other questions, feel free to email me through [email protected] or through my page. I look forward to hearing from you!

11.01.2022 Hello all, my name is Jess and I welcome you to my page Fleurieu Tutoring and Mentoring! I am an aspiring secondary teacher hoping to provide tutoring and/or mentoring assistance to secondary students. I specialise in psychology, general mathematics and physical education theory. I also integrate the student’s academia with teaching organisational skills, study strategies, as well as managing stress and anxiety associated with workload and exams. My approach to tutoring is t...hat a lot of what we learn in the classroom applies to life outside of school. For example, school teaches us about resilience, organisation, leadership, perseverance, work ethic and so forth, where each of these verbs will apply to different situations in our lives. In other words, I make what the student learns in the classroom applicable and meaningful to life outside of the classroom. In addition, I offer the option to help the student with life skills such as resume building, how to approach an employer to apply for a job, what to expect in a job interview, how to apply for university, time management and so forth. In addition, if a student wishes to not pursue the university or academic pathway, I normalise that university is not always for everyone, and that there are different pathways students can take. Please direct any questions or bookings through my email.
