09.01.2022 Did you know? A skincare routine that is or too basic or too acidic disrupts the natural balance of your skin. Your skin's acid mantle (the protective layer on the top of your skin) is a crucial component of healthy skin! When that protective layer is disrupted by daily unbalanced skin products, your skin is affected by the exterior and this imbalance triggers a lot of uncomfortable reactions.... Products that are too basic disturb your acid mantle by stripping the skin of it's natural sebum and raising the skin's pH. These products age your skin quickly, causing dryness, redness, inflammation and visible lines and wrinkles.
