One of the greatest skills in life is learning how to access your internal compass and find balance in times of stress.... Here are 3 ways to help you find your centre: . (1) AWARENESS Once you become aware that you have lost your centre, you can work consciously in finding it again. Being aware of the NEED TO REDIRECT YOUR ENERGY or focus is fundamental. . Start each new day or project by closing your eyes, taking a few deep breaths, and imagining that everything you approach is from a place of centred balance. . (2) ATTENTION IN ACTION Start with placing your attention on your breath. Conscious breathing is a great tool for getting out of your head and back into your heart. . All change is created in the NOW; it is from this place that you will be able to cultivate the soil needed for the final step. . (3) INTENTION The last step is to set an Intention for how you would like to face the challenge ahead. Visualise being your best self and moving forward with clarity and calm focus. . This posture opens our body up to the complete opposite range of motion, a rarely found opportunity outside of a yoga studio. ... . It looks like it's all about arm strength, but the keys are learning where your center of gravity is and how to distribute your weight so that you can find that balance. . The biggest hurdle to overcome is usually a resistance to move enough of your weight forward into your hands. . When you find that sweet spot, the feet just pop off the floor almost on their own. . Crow Pose strengthens the wrist, forearms, and abdomen while stretching your upper back. . It improves balance and core strength. . 02.01.2022 It is becoming more and more common knowledge that THOUGHTS AND WORDS ARE EXTREMELY POWERFUL. . So one of the best ways to succeed is to TRAIN YOUR MIND TO BE RESOURCEFUL by using positive language. . When we say: "I can't do this", "Oh my! I look horrible today" or "This is too hard for me", we are CREATING our thoughts with our words, making them real.... . So be honest with yourself... How often do you speak to yourself in a detrimental, unresourceful way? . Our brain doesn't know that we are just expressing a momentary whim. It hears our own words and believes them. THOUGHTS AND WORDS ARE ENERGY and as conscious beings, we have the amazing capacity to create our own reality. . So it is paramount to train our minds to THINK RESOURCEFULLY, and teach our mouths to EXPRESS OURSELVES MINDFULLY, about all the things we CAN do, what we have ACHIEVED, what we are going to CREATE! . Nothing is too hard if faced in the right way. . For example instead of saying: "I can't do this", you could say: "It's a challenge, I need to practice more". Or replace "I look awful today" with: "Looks like I need rest - I need to find some time for myself today". And instead of saying "This is too hard", why not try: "I don't know how to do this yet, but I'm determined to learn. Who might be able to help me?" .
